Gedankekojote97 Posted April 7, 2022 Posted April 7, 2022 View File Medieval Madness (MOD) nFozzy, Fleep Sounds, LUT 1.1 Hello there, here i want to present to you an upgraded version of Ninuzzu, Tom Towers and Skitsos "Medieval Madness" table. I have implemented the nFozzy Physics, Fleep Sounds, and a LUT selector (Hold LMagna and scroll through the LUTs with the RMagna). I have also done some rubber cleanups and small changes. To fit the screen i adjusted the POV and stretched the y-scale a little...if you dont like it, change it back to the original scale (Y-Scale 1,12). I want to thank Ninuzzu and Tom Tower for his table, Skitso for his graphic overhaul, VPW Team for their awesome example table, Bigus1 for his graphic overhaul and all other that are involved in there to deliver a much better VPX experience ! Cheers and have fun Submitter Gedankekojote97 Submitted 04/07/2022 Category Modified (MOD) Games Modified by Skitso, Gedankekojote97 Original Table Author Ninuzzu, Tom Tower Link to B2S
oak600 Posted February 21, 2023 Posted February 21, 2023 I noticed playing on the newest VPX that the bumper volume is controlled by the music volume and not the table sound effects volume. I'm currently running on a basic two speaker setup without SFF. I'm new to VPX, so I have no clue on how to fix this, but I figured it would be worth letting the maintainers know. Great mods otherwise and thank you for your hard work!!!
Nicals Posted November 15, 2023 Posted November 15, 2023 Hi, I had an issue with the draw bridge closing but not raising. I found that Controller.GetMech() was always returning 0, so the open procedure could not be fired. I run Visual Pinball on Linux using the standalone branch of the main dev repository. It may be an issue only for Linux users, but I found some draw bridge related comments in the vpuniverse table page ( I added a variable to keep track of the draw bridge state and it seems to work. I did not find any issue so far. You can have a look at the patch I applied here: https://github.com/Nicals/vpx-standalone-scripts/commit/f8bc117b3acc169759d529ff0c4f1baaa74b3918

You spared me the work, however it seems that they didn't apply the changes in the github, they really should
Nicals Posted February 1, 2024 Posted February 1, 2024 I thought it was fixed in VPinMame for some time. I'll check again a see if this issue needs to be reported.
creaghzycreagh Posted February 4, 2024 Posted February 4, 2024 I have been tearing my hair out about this so will try this tonight when I get home. I'm running vpinmame 3.6 beta and the problem still persists. Thanks for working this out .
barryodog Posted February 5, 2024 Posted February 5, 2024 Just to let you know after i did the last popper update i had the same problem, gostad my cab back to previous imige and problem was fixed. I had problems with a couple other tables, and my VR was not working.

I've found another issue with this table which I put in the download comment section, basically the ball coming down the right side loop will hit the right slingshot if it isn't moving fast enough - say when it comes out of the Merlin magic etc (see attached). Have hacked together a fix but it probably has inadvertently messed up the game a little. Hopefully there is a final final version created by someone to address these lingering issues, because it is such a fun table and deserves it.
CodeBrewer Posted March 21, 2024 Posted March 21, 2024 Love this table, thanks for all the work on this. It does seem like there is a bug in the script that only really causes problems with newer Pinmame versions. See this thread on GitHub for details: https://github.com/vpinball/pinmame/issues/226#issuecomment-1996257562. Is there a way we can get a patched version of this, @Gedankekojote97? I'm happy to help if I can.
echodun Posted April 1, 2024 Posted April 1, 2024 Has this ever been fixed? I love the lighting and play on this version, but I'm tired of hitting the drawbridge and nothing happening. I tried the script on github and that version didn't fix the issue for me. Also, could it be because I'm using the official Williams rom versus the profanity-laced version?
Bugsherm77 Posted May 12, 2024 Posted May 12, 2024 Everything seems to work great now and love the table. Only issue I have is a small ball hop as it rolls from the inlane and onto the flipper? Is it supposed to be that way?
Genesis38 Posted August 5, 2024 Posted August 5, 2024 Very nice recreation of the real table and plays really nice. Like others, I am having issues with the draw bridge not closing and unable to destroy the castle. Wondering if there will be an update eventually?

Thankyou for the notice, it looks like it makes the trick and, at last, the table is working fine again... like a charm!!! 🤩
thechadisgr8 Posted June 4, 2025 Posted June 4, 2025 You guys are the best, cant believe it took me this long to find this, I can finally see what all the fuss is about!
RuDA Posted November 15, 2025 Posted November 15, 2025 (edited) Noob here. I'm trying to run a puppack with this great table creation. The pack created by GtecArcade. I have it running while in test, but nothing once the game starts. Really want to have this version of the table with the puppack. Any help would be appreciated. I have a 4 screen setup, in test all is well. I have all the file names as they should be, script changed to rom I'm using, game boots up fine. Puppack named the same as the Rom. I installed Jaws a few days ago and have that puppack up and running. Just stumped on MM. Thanks Edited November 16, 2025 by RuDA

Can you please tell me where this fix will be placed?
Thalamus Posted January 16 Posted January 16 (edited) I recommend that you get the newest vpw version instead. But, sure - any *.vbs that is named the same as the table itself, matching it completely - will be loaded instead of the one that is inside the table. So, if table is gakkgakk.vpx - then save any vbs code script as gakkgakk.vbs - script will have to be in the same folder as the table file. And you will be good to go. Edited January 16 by Thalamus
