Adding Credits

I am a little stumped. I wired up my coin slots to my IPAc and mapped them in visual pinball to keyboard press 3.

In all of the games I have pressing 3 will always add credits, but on a few tables, using a coin wont add credits.

I tried looking thru the script, but am still too much a newb to know what to look for.

I thought it was 4 and 5 for adding credits, atleast on my cab!

What my process was:   I opened up VP,  opened the KEYS editor,  clicked on add credit - put in a quarter and it registered my ipac.  they I did the same thing for credit 2.   I don't think it matters what key I press on the keyboard,  just that my ipac recognises it?

 

I can't edit the VPinmame credits.

Which rom and which version of Fish Tales are you using? I have a similar setup with my coin door and have no problems.

Thanks dodger.. I actually never thought to check the rom version. ill try another one tonight and report back!

I was running L5. Loaded l3 and same issue..odd

I'm running Melons Table with the l5 rom. No problem here.

I'll check that out.  I renamed my file, so I am not 100% sure which version it is,  thanks for the direction

use the 5 key for credits and it will work for every table
