B2s and hp media packs/PuP packs (clarify)

Hello community, just delving into this awesome hobby and community, and just wanted to clarify one thing. 

So i understand as far as b2s servers go you need to grab a b2s file for the table ur running, i also see options for hp media packs, and ultra dmd, my confusion is will pinup popper and b2s run the same media compressed in the hp packs, or are they specific to hyper? I will be using pin up popper and all the tables ill be running will be vpx, also there are ultra dmds and pup packs available, so if i could just get some clarification as to the difference and requirements vs possible upgrades much appreciated

Pinup Popper and B2S do not typically use the exact same media files as legacy HyperPin (HP) packs, though they can often run the raw video and image files contained within them if manually reassigned.
