tttttwii
Dear Tom, I downloaded the modified tables of Arngrim. All performed perfect execpt Scarface. Scarface table worked (table + B2S) but no DFO/ledwiz response. After closing VP and starting again everything worked. Not a big issue, but maybe you have an idea! gamefixer
If shutting down VP and restarting it fixed it then I bet there was something hanging within VP. I've noticed that I have to shut it down from time to time if I'm launching several tables from the desktop.
Content Provider arngrim Posted September 7, 2013 Content Provider Share Posted September 7, 2013 fyi i have a strange like this that i can reproduce everytime. when i turn on on off my hifi amp on my cab while i'm playing or while i am in vpeditor, my first ledwiz cease to function until i restart vp I don't have the issue with ledcontrol.vbs, dof seems more sensitive to the power consumption in my cab.. ViriiGuy
Is there anyway to setup the core.vbs so that if a Table does not have B2S, it will revert to LEDControl? I love this, but there are lots of tables which do not have a B2S yet.
gamefixer
I've actually had to make a few b2s backglasses (only to find out that they were already made) to support DOF on tables that didnt have them. It would be interesting to find an easier solutions though.
Content Provider arngrim Posted September 8, 2013 Content Provider Share Posted September 8, 2013 Did you even try to use B2S.Server with those?
ViriiGuy
Well.... No I just "ASS-U-Me-d" that if I did not have a b2s file for them, that it would crash or not work. Guess I outta try it huh?
gamefixer
I hadn't thought of that either. So run UVP and B2S at the same time?
Content Provider arngrim Posted September 8, 2013 Content Provider Share Posted September 8, 2013 Ah no it is b2s or uvp... But which tables has uvp and not b2s? I have 160 tables and all with db2s or old b2s

ViriiGuy
Thanks Ringorian! Denis, I will have to check, they are fairly obscure tables usually.. But I have 650ish of them installed Except Big Bang Bar. I can't find a b2s for it.

ViriiGuy
Cool thanks. I hope to have some time today to dig at my cabinet. If not, it will probably be friday before I get a chance to make changes and see what doesn't have them..

tttttwii
I had another strange observation: I played Safe Cracker and DOF performed as it should. After 30 secs. all outputs stopped working. After exiting the table and restarting everything turned back to normal. I never experienced that issue with ledwiz.
Content Provider swisslizard Posted September 9, 2013 Author Content Provider Share Posted September 9, 2013 @tttttwi: Can you please check the log file if you have that enable for error messages. If it happens again, please go to the plugins window of the B2S.Server by clicking the plugins bottun in the B2S.Server settings window and check if there is a error message display behind the DOF line (right lick the message for the whole text). ViriiGuy
Ok, in just VP tables I have 388 atm. I am going to spend a few days going thru and updating them to b2s where applicable and see wher eI am from there. Once I get the list whittled down, I will let you know what I have that doesn't work or have a b2s Some won't be worth either......
gamefixer
I cant say this enough, DOF rules!! I put together another computer today and instead of copying installs that I've done already I did a virgin install from the OS up (that way theres NO chance of legacy ledwiz control files being there). This thing works better than I've ever seen it work. VP launched from the desktop and LED's working with not a single stutter. Bravo team DOF!
