Hey kids!

Malenko here again starting another Pin2DMD colorization. I figured I'd do another WIP thread to keep me motivated to actually finish it.
Ive been color masking a ton of stuff, no need or desire to redraw everything like I did with SF2 , the animations in T2 are actually *REALLY* good.

I cant even list all the stuff left to do, but I will attach some animations for things that are done.

Done so Far:

Test Screen
GrandChampion
Top Marksmen
Shoot again words (not the elevator scene yet)
Load the Gun Sequence
Shoot for Jackpot Sequence
HunterKiller crosshair animation
HunterKiller explosion (I will probably take the time to draw the HK stuff by hand)
T800 with lightning Bolt in attract mode
"Color by Malenko" replacing the say no to drugs screen
Free Play / Push Start (will change my machine to coins and capture that too)
Arnie holding the shotgun (not firing, yet)

Cool, I've also did some colorization on T2 but stopped when I found out Rappelbox was also working on it. Maybe good to inform him you are almost done ;).

he knows about it, he posted in the pinside thread :)

here's the WIP of the "elevator scene" another vpuniverse exclusive sneak peak.  I also didnt tell anyone about adding pin2dmd to the special thanks. There was a gap in the names so I added it, I'd never remove someone.

Works flawless on a real pin2dmd. But as i tested it with freezys dll vpx crashes. Have to do some researches again

Freezys DLL does not support the vpin export format.yet.

When I download the entire folder(T2) and all of its contents, then I start the editor and load the project, I get the error in the picture. its trying to load the files from the original location(i.e. the location on malenko's computer), not the current location(on my computer). How can I fix this so I can play around with this project? I know I could try to create the same drive and folder structure as the error but I don't easily have D: to put the files on...

I figured it out. Tthe XML file contains the full address of that 1 file. just open the xml in text editor and delete the D:\Pin2DMD\T2\  and that fixed it. all good now.

I thought I removed the hard link from the XML, thats totally my fault.  I'll update the download folder.

I had to rename the .pal file to pin2dmd.pal to get it to work on my VP with my pin2dmd. Thanks for the efforts on this, just awesome! I'm experiencing some flicker in animation with red in it when I light the kickback on the pin2dmd.

What table are you guys using with this?  I'm using the most recent VP10 version and get no ROM audio when loading with the table.  However, if I run the ROM via PinMAME I do get audio and color.  First time I've run into this issue.
