Problem running SAM Tables and Vpinmame

Hi

I have problems running SAM tables.

I had Avatar working on VPM 2.8 but POTC and Spider man will not run so I thought I would update to 2.8B to see if that helped. Now Avatar won't work lol (NOT)

I got the messages shown below, but I checked the ROM and the path and it is correct (Why would it move)

I put back version 2.8 (I had made a copy of the folder luckily) and Avatar works from this.

Can somebody explain what is going on here exacty or whether I need V2.8B to run POTC for example.

All these files and builds and updates are getting so confusing now its very difficult to inderstand what is happening with VPX.

I spend much more time reading forums than playing and it is actually ruinuing the experience

Anyway any help much appreiciated as alwaysUntitledu.png
