Lobotomy
Hey!Just recieved my strobe panels from Zeb and boy those puppies are strong! So, here's my question for you guys:Where the h*** do i put them?My idea (since im now redoing my whole cab) was to put them on the edge of the "cree panel" (above PF, under DMD, standard position) beside my 5 set of cree's.But now i feel like they will do harm to my poor old brain, i never had strobe's on my previous build so i don't know the effect, how often and long they flash.Or is the effect cooler if i mount them behind the backbox so they flash on the wall/ceiling? (i noticed they have a very narrow spread).Or do i put them behind my topper to get some backlight on my artwork there?Gimme your setup so i can try whats best for me! faralos
how about under the cab itself? that way you can see the flashing and they will also light up underneath the cab for effects but the strobe will be softer since it is out of sight kind of like an ambient light under it

Content Provider gtxjoe Posted November 30, 2013 Content Provider Share Posted November 30, 2013 They flash a lot. I have mine by the playfield flashers but they are tilted down very slightly. Having them angled up towards the player was way too bright for me

Lobotomy
gtxjoe, yeah thats what i was worried about, but since i am rebuilding my lightbar i want to be sure i can use them, but i'll try to put them on the sides of the crees and flash them to try the angle that works for me, tnx! =)
