bele2009 Posted June 9, 2023 Share Posted June 9, 2023 What are your thoughts on adding to a table’s script to support additional visual effects (MX Custom 1, PB side effects)? I know it is not advisable to implement DOF events in a table script as the changes would only apply to a specific version on a table instead of all the tables using the same ROM. For example, I am working on Beat The Clock and wanted a “SHOOT” message on the matrix with the ball in the shooter lane. Beat The Clock does not have a real switch in the shooter lane, I added one in VPx and mapped it to SW22 whis is not used in the switch matrix. Am I going in a rabbit hole here or getting in trouble with the table author(s)? What is the proper way to proceed? Thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
