Pup Packs Don't Load for Rom Based Games

I've been banging my head against a wall for two days on this. Pup packs for non-rom based games load without issue (Stranger Things, Beatles, Leprechaun etc).

Any Rom based game, nothing happens, just the standard DMD appears.

Everything installed with Baller Installer.

I've read and re-read Nailbuster's troubleshooting guide here: https://www.nailbuster.com/wikipinup/doku.php?id=puppack_troubleshoot

I've even set up a second PC and same exact issue on both machines.

I'm getting good output in PUPLOG.txt like

20221107 09:08:01 Open called
20221107 09:08:01 Set Game Name thread austin
20221107 09:08:01 Start Thread Matching 2

20221107 09:08:01 Init Game name:austin

20221107 09:08:01 num images 32 20221107 09:08:09 Free Object Display

DmdDevice.ini has

[pinup]

; if enabled, send frames to PinUP.

enabled = true

Anyone have any experience with troubleshooting this issue? It can't be this hard to get these going, correct?

I just noticed something in my DmdDevice.log file:

Re-ran the pinmame with just the 32-bit setup. Here are my log files. No errors that I can see. Let me know if there are any others I should be looking for. I'm not seeing any references now to dmddevicePUP.DLL however.

Hi - I did not want to start a new thread so have latched on to this one

Same problem

Pups load fine on non ROM based tabled and also load fine on ROM based tables using 32 bit - problem is when using 64 bit

I downloaded the PinUPSystem x64 zip file which holds the plugins64 folder and a dmdmdevicePUP64.dll.

Dropped them into the appropriate folders, but the Pups still wont work

I noticed on my dmddevice.ini file there is a section about putting the path addresses down for the native 32bit and 64bit versions, so for plugin.0.path64 I entered the C:\ address of where the above plugin64 folder was located

Tried again but still no luck

Any advice please
