Newbie trying to learn about changing color text on DMD

Good afternoon.

 

This is all new to me so please excuse me

 

I hope this is the right place to post this. I have an AtGames pinball and have everything working connected to my PC.

 

I currently am using Freezys DMDEXT but that only allows me to have one color and I'm trying to have different colors for the score and player 

 

I want to adjust the Shrek pinball which doesn't have a colorized rom

 

I was told about pin2DMD which I downloaded the extension file which replaced my current dmddisplay dll.

 

Where do I go from here? How can I adjust the colors of the text? Is there something else I need to do?

 

Again I'm sure the answer is obvious, but maybe over my head.

If your still stuck have you tried starting your table and hitting F1 for options?

Hit f1 when the table is running. Tick the colorize dmd box. You can puck colors from there or use these pal files and place them in vpx altcolor folder.
