How to turn off PuP Packs for SOME tables

Hey guys, I have several versions of some tables, and I want to be able to play some without the PuP Pack.

I believe, since they use the same ROM, the PuP Packs will always play (no matter which version of the table I choose).  Is there a way to turn off the PuP Pack for some Tables? (even if other versions of that table DO use the PuP pack?)

Does the pup on/off feature (option #3 from link) work with non-rom tables? I can find where to put this line in table scripts which use a rom, but wondering if possible on a table without?
