Altsound help

How do you change the alt sound value from 1 to 0 ? I am unable to change it through the F1 menu. When I click on the field, the popup disappears. Are there any other ways ? If I delete the table , rom and nvram and redownload them, will that do it ?

Go into your VPinMAME folder and run Setup.exe, (Or Setup64.exe if using 64bit version).

You are not reinstalling, but just testing a rom.

When window pops up click on Test.

Now another window will pop up showing all of your roms.

Select the rom you want changed to altsound.

Now click Game Options.

Now you will have the same window you see when you hit F1 while playing table.

Make your altsound change, and press OK.

 

 

Should be all that is needed.

thank you, I have done all that, but still can't get Funhouse VPX music to work
