Sarvets
Recently I grabbed a controller called the pinone mini machine https://www.clevelandsoftwaredesign.com/pinball-parts/p/virtual-pinball-pinone-mini-machine . At this point It is being recognized by the majority of related programs that interpret and interact with it. I get live readings from: 1.The CSD controller application 2.The b2s server- which is connected and says I have a plugin enabled and working- backglass is up and can place elements of multi or single backglass 3.the DOFLINX in two ways: new setup with no .ini and the prompt to create a raw config that i can enter into and build from scratch and ALSO acknowledgement of The new ini I compiled and built with the DOF config tool: http://configtool.vpuniverse.com/combo.php Both run fine, the ini config tool version from what i can tell is: 1. pathed correctly= unique elements of the ini i generated DO seem to be at work, but 2.Does not connect the COMBO1 and COMBO2 elements in the following guide https://pinball-docs.clevelandsoftwaredesign.com/docs/DOF/configuring so im not sure at this point which elements are not linked: If the solenoids are not yet binded or if they are and interacting with vpx -and not working after THAT on some level they are binded according to the guide and the ini was made with making sure to save and rename it to defaultconfig11 it loads and does everything i think its supposed to do except have the 2 solenoids (binded too the two only solenoids that exsist) interacting in VPX with targets. if anyone from this point has any idea what i should do let me know big thanks! Sarvets
heres the line of steps That would help get the pinone mini working on VPX that worked for me- 1. confirm it is working thru the CSD controller which can be grabbed here https://pinball-docs.clevelandsoftwaredesign.com/docs/PinOne/Configuring/ 2. make sure b2s is setup which i grabbed from this quide - https://github.com/vpinball/b2s-backglass/wiki/64bit-VPX-Pincab-Setup-Guide if you wanna follow the full guide it may help to ensure we are all doing the same thing- if you would like a video companion to this process watch marty do his thing here now FOR ME there is an exception to this process: I keep hitting a wall so INSTEAD my B2S extraction and setup is in - vPinball\Visualpinball\Tables this is ALSO where I put \plugins and \plugins64 FROM HERE YOU CAN USE EITHER THE ABOVE GUIDE OR THE ONE BELOW- I found no important difference between either 3. following the above guide or this here- install DOF https://pinball-docs.clevelandsoftwaredesign.com/docs/DOF/ do what it says 4.install DOFLINX- https://pinball-docs.clevelandsoftwaredesign.com/docs/DOFLinx/ once DOFLINX is downloaded and unblocked= I put it in \Directoutput-x86 which i have in my C drive you can run DOFLINX and see if it is communicating with the device at this point. For VPX as i understand it= doflinx is only required for external programs that are seperate from VPX and need a link to interact with them. might as well check it is working anyway but if not, save it for later. so after all this- read the above post and youll see where i ended up at that point. problem is solved and it had two elements 1. there were two plugin instances occouring at the same time during b2s I deleted the shortcuts alltogether in vPinball\visualpinball\tables\plugins64 and left the other plugin in vpinball\visualpinball\tables\directoutput-x86 active which eliminated the redundancy 2. the ini generation for the guide on the documentation wasnt clear enough about what needs to be generated with the DOF config tool for the pinone mini. since this all just took place id be happy to try and help anyone who is trying to configure the pinone mini. this should take you there once you arrive at this point directoutputconfig11.ini DOFLinx.INI
