Hi,

 

I'm presenting a new project for Scared Stiff. It is a demo file I'm working on, to help zedrummer on the new cROM file format.

- fixed bonnie beast hurry-up (after spider web)

- fixed elvira eyes in extra-ball

- scared stiff intro (red over laps the top line)

- Beat the crate - mixed coloer between title and countdown

- 1 frame missing on snale / bonnie beast

- default score with 1/2 credit

- meat head - fixed chewing cow

- added frames for leaper countdown to score

- added frames for skillshot countdown to score

- added sprite detection for bat on hit leapers countdown

10/03/2023 :

- impoved bonnies beast with fire

- changed a lot of score hurry-up of info screen to bring constancy in color choice (score in red, action in green, info in white)

- fixed s-o-m masks for level 4

- fixed s-o-m level - removed dynamic color

- added one missing frame on bonnie beast run

- added missing sprites for bat passing over the score

- fixed end bonus (white or green pixels showing here and there)

- improved leapers countdown

 

06/03/2023 - after release : 

- improved multiball sequence

- shoot again detection mask updated

- new colors for leapers countdown

- fixed scared stiff white logo for stiff-o-meter end

- attract elvira favorite stiff - new detection mask (might still have an issue, I only have 6 stiff.. I don't know what is the max amount.. might need more dump)

- added one frame on extraball sequence

- new hair color for bad head

- fixed one pixel blinking on fat head

 

06/03/2023 - Release v1.0

- Official release on VPU

absolutely gorgeous so far @dtatane. I'll admit I haven't played enough to hit all the scenes but what I did see was amazing. Only 'glitch' I saw was after entering high score and then in attract mode it came around to my score it flashes and the colors were alternating. minor minor thing and I'm sure part of the in- progress stuff. I'm completely impressed sir, well done!

First of all the colorization looks great on the WIP!

 

Has anyone tried a CRZ file when using an alias for a table?  So the altcolor folder name would normally need to match the alias name put into the table script next to cgamename.  I'm trying that as a test with serum cRZ file and I noticed for the non aliased table colorizaitons work.  (asuming you dont have scale to hd set to true in your dmddevice.ini) but for a table that you use and alias I can't get them to work like other colorization files have in the past.  Is this a known issuue or has anyone else tried this out?
