Use thick 240 volt uk or 110 volt us cable to panels and wire stm32 discovery with pins on sash shield all together from one wire from power pack

Hi i used 24o volt cable brown + to red + and blue - on black  5volt use terminals blocks on sash sheild as it holds the higher amps better and much tidyier 

Also use the same thick cable on powering the stm  as the panels 

As it gives a lot better clearer signaling  and wire

Panels together gives a good solid stable gound and capictors are for each  led row 

Look at pics for example  wiring u also removed removed all,jumpers on the stm32 discovery except  thr next to the mcu chip 

These are as follows the 2 under the board and thr 2 side by side as they are not needed for anything

So use one cable from power pack tie down earths on panel and stm32 discovery

Jumpers to remove st link ones but remember you may need to but put back to upgrade firmware and took off once program
