wAxx
I've tried switching from physmod 5 to VPX and it's a disaster so far, the tables crash on the trough error and I cant figure this out. Is this an easy fix or no?
jesperpark
Now just making sure you are using VP10 to play VP 10 tables, and the Pm5.exe to play Pm5 tables? They are different exes for each type of table. If you use the all in 1 installer, you can keep all types of tables (VP9, PM5, VP10) together in tables folder. When you click on table the program will pick the correct exe for you
wAxx
Yes, I have all the new stuff running. The table count for VPX is too high to ignore any longer, and the tables are so beautiful. Trying to run new VPX tables and getting shot down, lol.
Content Provider allknowing2012 Posted December 26, 2016 Content Provider Share Posted December 26, 2016 Many of the table are really 10.2 VPX which just went final. Be sure you have that and the latest vbs scripts. Ideally you have all the scripts in vp/scripts directory and no .vbs files in tables directory (keep a copy just to be sure as there could be table specific scripts that are not part of the vpx scripts install. - like KISS). wAxx
Strike 3, thousand...It slays me that there's not better help to make this work. Spreading out instructions over 10 sites/spiderweb of pinball sites/forums isn't helpful.
Content Provider sliderpoint Posted December 26, 2016 Content Provider Share Posted December 26, 2016 Do a search for *.vbs in your VP folder. If you have any that are not in the scripts folder, get rid of them.-Mike
jesperpark
9 of 10 times it's what sliderpoint and allknowing are saying. All scripts now go into the scripts folder, also when you upgrade make sure to copy the latest scripts into the script folder. Any scripts elsewhere will cause issues of all kinds. If you are getting a specific error, try to take a screenshot and post it so can see what it could be. You have 2 great trouble shooters and table authors trying to help you out so don't get discouraged
wAxx
Thanks for responding guys, I have it going now. I wiped out everything and started over; I'm looking forward to seeing the tables run!
