if ever there is a small oversight: in the image manager select "plastics1" and put "1" instead of "200" for the Alpha Mask.

That way the plastics above the inlanes will be more visible (200 is ok for plastics2. I will update later).

does not work in VPX 10.7: (Only the clink of coins is heard, but it is not possible to hit the ball and start the game?

It should work with VPX6 and VPX7

Try to reset your previous settings (clean bonebstr nvram and cfg files). I hope it will be enough :)

The table starts but I had to disable use externall Dmd

Had the same problem of the first ball not ejecting on game start.  Had to add a ball to the trough, then the game played normally once.  Next game would be a confused multiball mess, though.  Behaviour was consistent across multiple starts of VPX.

 

Running it with Wildman's B2S and disabling external dmd fixed it, now game starts and runs great!

The trough should be ok as it is (tested during weeks now by a few guys and there is no more any issue with that nor the kickers) But yes according to an other guy also, it seems like the table doesn't like the external DMD devices and need some of them to be disabled to work.... I'm not sur I can fix that easily because I never used any external DMD device...

ok problem with external DMD found (thanks again to Colvert who helped me with its testings to track the issue) 👍

 

Quick fix : uncomment the lignes 374 et 375 in the script :

PS: I will update the table with the above fixes as soon as the issue with my uploads here will be resolved. Dazz is working on it.

Version 1.0a (hotfix) available

- issue with external DMD fixed

- skillshot should be more easy to achieve

- inlanes plastic transparency fixed

- a few very small visual improvements

 

Side Notes :

- By default the right-up flipper is controlled by the right-magnasave button (just like the real machine)

If you prefer there is an option in the script to use the right flipper button instead.

- Some game settings are available through dipswitches (press F6 ingame to acces).

The table should be launched again after any changes to apply the new settings

did you build this from 32assassin's table?  There are plastics on his version that look alot better namely the one above the top right flipper with the 3 skulls.  I would contact him to see if you can use his assets, i am sure he would let you since he never released publicly his version

I didn't managed to contact him (tried twice) so I had to rebuild from a blanc table. But as said here in the description and in the script I took his beta script as a base and some elements like many playfield inserts for example. Also even not working and without arts, his beta table helped a lot as a good example. That's why I put his name as co-autor :)

Also I took some arts and the wire-ramp primitives form hmueck VPX version. So this is a "team" effort ;)

@Aubrelwell if I remember correctly I reached out to a pinside to get scans of the plastics for him to use on that table.  I have worked with 32assassin a lot and he was always very nice about sharing stuff if you were considerate and credited the proper people.  It’s a shame Paul and Bigus ran him off.  I can look for the original scans but I think he would not mind if you used pieces off his table just credit him.  Hell I think I even redrew or touched up a few of them

Thanks, but I think the ones used in the table at this time are better ;)

In fact I have all the arts in good quality except this one :

For the rest it's ok even for the ones I still didn't put in the table for now (because they are nearly invisibles in FS or DT uses)

 

And in fact I spent a few hours this afternoon to clean and put in the table most of these missing ones  :)

 

Edit : Plastic found! It is hidden but available at MarcoSpecialties! Now it's complete :)

In the beta table I have from 32A there are nearly no arts nor primitives and this plastic is not included 🤔

You seem to know system 3 tables very well. Is there any Frank Thomas' Big Hurt table around? I couldn't seem to find one for vpx.
