Timelord is a rollicking fun game designed for player of all levels, with hard and easy mode 3 ball or 5 ball options that are selected at the start of the game. Included in the downloads section are the game file, 2 screen and 3 screen back glasses & media pac.

Select your LUT preference at any time during the game by holding down the left magna save and selecting with the right magna save. The VPX lighting is set for the Basseige LUT which is my preference. You can lower the scene lighting in the VPX editor if you prefer a darker or lighter playfield and there is not enough adjustability from the LUTs for your preferred lighting. Scenic is Currently set at 0.1 in the vPX editor.

If you are playing VR set the VRRoom=1 at line 116 of the script.

3.1.1b is a major update with new DMD screens fitting the table character design and less cartoony. There are also change to skill shot gameplay and skill shot value increases for consecutive skill shots. The playfield lighting is much more dynamic with lighting affects for activation of all major and minor awards. The jackpot and super jackpot bug is also fixed in this update so jackpot scores continue to increase then hold at maximum value for the duration of the ball :) There is a new apron design in 3.1.1a and the major fixes are for the rolling ramp bug, redesign of the opening shot area and the dragon nebula. There is fix for the  hologram to sit flat on the table and a nice use  of flashing playfield images at the start of the game and end of ball. It makes the game feel more dynamic. See the Changelog for all changes.

You will need VPinballX 10.8 RC4, Freezy DMD 2.2.2  & FlexDMD 1.9.1 to play the game.

This is a link to the game overview and rules are provided in the download. Check it out and improve your enjoyment of the game.😊

This game is based on an original story stemming from two fellahs spitballing ideas and try to make each other laugh. When you venture into the bizarre world of Kevin, aka Q-Man you have to remember that would much rather hang out in seedy bars with dodgy chicks than take control of the Universe.😁 To add to your torment you a tagged by Luigi the stray Robot who was cast aside by Mario the grape farmer because he kept draining the tractor gearbox for his favourite drink....used sump oil😂.  He's like the donkey in Shrek, unwanted and a serial pest and indelibly connected to Q-man.

To be the TimeLord you must complete  5 incredible dangerous tasks.  You traverse the universe, reverse time ,navigate the wormholes and meteor showers must slay the dragon. Upon completion of the tasks you venture to the glory table, (Wizard mode) . The Glory table gives 80 seconds to shoot the spiral ramp for Glory Billions  and reveal the real hero of the story.

I was very fortunate to work with some talented people in the production TimeLord through 6 generations of the game.  FrankyT does the  gangster style Robot Luigi and the TimeLord. Tomate did the translucent ramps, Oqqsan lighting, ball affects and  clock animations, DOF is done by Outhere, Fleep sounds and nfozzy physics are done by Gedankekojote and Rawd did the Virtual reality. JPSalas is a huge part of the TimeLord project, providing the game framework, many explanations of scripting and he made changes to get a very clunky game to work. It goes with out saying my old mate Crackers advised and checked all the game iterations and changes over 2 years while the game went through 6 iterations. Of course there are many others who have help shaped the game including Sixtoes, Apophis, Remdwass &  Wylte from PinHelp and Rajo Joey who helped shape the game in the early days. Without these people and Smaugs encouragement there would be no TimeLord 2 & 3.

I hope you like it and honest reviews and comments are always appreciated.

This game is not for sale or for distribution on other download platforms.

Incorporated into the game are

SSF audio and sound production

DOF

You will need the latest version of VPinballX10.7, VPinPame 3.5 and latest Freezy DMD is a must although I don't recommend that you select it in the script. I recommend that JPs  DMD flashers are used for cabs, Desktop and VR. These have maximum definition for DMD's and can be used with Pin2DMD's.

The game is designed surround sound feedback.

For people with DOF TimeLord 2.0 uses the same DOF configuration as the TimeLord 1.0 so the game is set ready to go and should play with no issues.

VR players have the option for a basic room or Rawds room which is selectable in script.

Thankyou to the talented crew who have worked with Avago to bring you TimeLord 3.0.

This game uses many objects from other Table Builder including, JP Salas, Flupper1s light inserts and Scotty Wickburgs dragon spinner, rotating bumper caps and rotating eyeballs. The ramp ideas are inspired by TOTAN, Opening ramp inspired by Bride of Pinbot and the 4 kicker centre lane is inspired by the EM game melody. Many thank to all the wonderful authors who provided inspiration for TimeLord 2.0

- playfield images flash at start of first ball or end of ball...also lights blink when award kickers are hit.

-lowered the spinning planets

-Fixed the backdrop flashers Domes to activate when right or left lanes are accessed.

-Fixed Hollogram to sit flat with the table

The first version of this table impressed me greatly with the overall concept, sound design, and modes of play. The complexity and challenge was hands down one of the best experiences I had in 2022. As such, version 1.0 was on my top ten tables of 2022 list. With this update @RusstyT adds more than I ever could have hoped for, including VR, new lights/inserts, and physics updates.

Installation: Straight forward, no fluff. Load and play! Russty even includes a walkthrough of the play with a video link in the table description above.

Play: As mentioned before, this was one of my favorite tables of last year, and now it has improved so much, even the kids are enjoying it more than ever. @RawdVR work is next level amazing, and the physics improvements have REALLY improved my ability to hit the shots I want. Sound design was perfect before, but somehow seriously improved in this version. 2.0 introduces varied play with an Easy and Hard modes. The easy mode allows for progression to happen faster, and my kids absolutely love playing this now.

Graphics: The new playfield lighting/insert and ball shadows work are top notch, this is a huge improvement! The new ramps from @tomate are crisp and amazing to get lost in. The new Dragon disc is very cool, and the table just looks sharp as hell.

Conclusion: Team Avago took an incredible release to the next level here, and It is wonderful to see these collaborations, new authors, and inspired work. You cannot go wrong downloading this, and please leave a like if you enjoy it!

Response from the author:

You fill-in some gaps nicely Smaug. Tomates ramps are a huge part of this release. The ball can be tracked anywhere on the playfield and they sit perfectly into the table. When I first saw them I just couldn't stop looking. He is a craftsman

This is definitely a new favorite of mine.  The graphics and music are beautiful !  At the beginning of the game, the flippers allow you to select easy/hard which is a feature I wish ALL creators would incorporate into their tables.  I'm not the greatest player and find it very frustrating not to be able to experience all tables.  I feel like with this table I can.

The play is a dream and feels like a real table.  Physics are incredible and angles are true so that I'm hitting most of what I ame for.  Thank you all for a great table !!!!  Love the story about how it came about.

There are only two changes I'd like to see in the future.  1. The numbers to be separated by a "," between the thousands. I find it difficult to easy read the total score because the numbers have no separation that work.  2.  The robot has an Aussie accent.  Usually I have no problem understanding, but am struggling with the robot.  I assume you did the voice Russtyt?  Understood you perfectly on GCC last week.  Maybe have an American accent .  Smauge would be perfect for this I think.

Again, thanks for a beautiful.....and more importunately playable game for all! - Pinballgramps

Earlier, I said that I have a problem understanding the robot.  After watching Russtyt's video......and playing it more times than I can count, I have to take that back.  I'm beginning to understand everything and am enjoying how much it adds to the table !!!  Again, great job everybody !!!!

Response from the author:

Thanks for interesting review. Straight up and down, what you liked and what what you didn't. The GCC release was blast and I enjoy the banter. The comma between numbers is one downside of TimeLord on a pin2DMD but you should see these in desktop mode and VR or if your DMD is a screen or HD Pin2DMD. The Aussie accent will have to stay. Sorry mate! Russell the Robot has the husky voice from drinking too much sump oil. WE all know how much he love a good 1928 vintage tractor sump oil. Great to share the moment on GCC. So much fun

Had a chance to play this for a little while now  (2.0) Enjoyed the first release and as others have mentioned this up the game a lot! Great concepts, great sound, great visual, what more can you ask for in a table.  It instantly went into the favorite's table and again have really enjoyed it since. Now stop reading reviews and go get the darn table 🙂

It's a great jump betweeen version 1 and 2. I know, how much work it is in the last months.

It plays and sound much better in the v2. And the new rules are fantastic.

Only minus point: I liked my VR room and Cabinet Artwork in v1 better. 😂

Great work by all involved. It is one of the best original tables. 🤩

Response from the author:

😂 Great to see you up and going again Rajo. People may not understand that I knew very little about pinball and how to build a game and people like you just joined in and made TimeLord 1 happen. TimeLord started with two guys just talking trash and one said to the other we should make a game and write a book and neither had much of a clue how to do either. 😂 And here we are. The journey continue and I've learnt enough to be dangerous.😂 You are and always will be part of the incredible Avago crew who brought TimeLord to life. You are recognised in the attract mode DMD for your contribution to the TimeLord journey. 😊

You have won me over with this hidden gem and anyone that don't get a chance to play it are missing out. Thank you to everyone envolved and I hope to see more from you!

I've had the pleasure of putting a lot of hours into playtesting this and the surprising transitions of the table as you progress past completing the letters to be in the wizard mode to what happens after. Easy\Hard mode for those who want a different challenge and just some fun game play.

Response from the author:

Well put JoeSoap and thanks for giving the game a thorough go over. I'm so stoked the game is now accessible to kids and novices to make plays and enjoy some unexpected transitions and light shows. A minor award at the captive ball, "Chained Lightning" is one of my favourite plays. The table goes dark with a clap of thunder and lightning bolt and oqqsans beautiful lights cascade down the table😁

Very nice !
But got a bug when in multiball, I lock one ball in the worm ramp, and then lose the other balls, then the game do nothing, it doesn't release the ball. I resorted to tilt, but still no unlock. Had to quit.

Reply to author : It didn't crash instantly, I was still able to use the flippers, I think it crashed only after I tilted.

Response from the author:

Thankyou for letting me know. There are so many scenarios that can occur. Did the table crash as soon as the ball hit the worm lock. Wondering if a ball was lost if it didn't eject from one of the other locks.

This is hands down the most beautiful, imaginative and unique pinball I have ever seen! That pop bumper cluster is incredible and those ramps!!! The ball winds its way down the invisible ram like a ballet and is pure magic! This is a masterpiece I doubt can be beat!! Also, great playing and fun!

Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!! ❤️

Response from the author:

Thankyou for your totally excellent review. Means a lot to see the passion and enjoyment you have for the game. The goal of TimeLord was to be fun, have a laugh and hopefully capture the imagination. I hope you Get to the glory table. The billion shots are a rush and its so satisfying to watch the ball fly around the spiral ramp. I played it in competition in early December and managed to score 12.5Billion in easy 3ball mode. This seems to be the go to mode for competition. Hard mode has a couple of nice callouts in the left lane and left ramp that you don't get in easy mode. Thanks again and have fun

This is a great game.  Super sharp graphics, fast, accurate game play, nice soundtrack that adds a bit of a sense of urgency.  Love the multiballs that arrive in different colors and the 2 "invisible" chutes.

Some skill is required in planning your flips to access the ramps and bumpers up top.

Have added to my "original table" favorites list.
