After a long journey (documented here: The Shadow Colorization - COMPLETE (sorry for the delay) - Pin2DMD DMD Colorization Works in Progress - Virtual Pinball Universe (vpuniverse.com)) the sun has finally set on the Shadow being fully colorized for Pin2DMD.  This game was a monster with a ton of dynamic transistions that I've done my best to colorize or mask as best as possible.  The majority of the colors are pulled directly from the cabinet or playfield and are done in a art deco style matching the movie.  The game pairs well with my Pinsound reochestration (The Shadow Pinball Ultimate Orchestration via Pinsound - YouTube) using Goldsmiths' outstanding score and having all of the sound effects replaced.  Feel free to kick the tires of the VPin version and let me know if you are interested in the real pin version.

This colourisation is massive.  The time and work that must have gone into making it.  Very well done.

Thanks.  Yes, it was a very long road to head down.  Lots of modes with even more ways that the game goes in and out of them. Some of them using dynamic transitions with random patterns (like dissolves) that I had to figure ways around or simply ways to hide. The biggest challenges were the Hotel Monolith mode where the hotel has random dots all over it that clear up each shot.  The work around for that was using the bottom of the edges of 2 lines then using long delays that wouldn’t get interrupted by the sparkles.  The Sphere mode has several hundred key frames as while the hallway does loop, the ball rocks back and forth separate from that and you get all sorts of different combos.  The final hurdle was the Punish the Guilty mode where seemingly randomly the gangster would be on the right side of the screen instead of the left.  It turned out that Vengeance running at the start of the mode triggers that.   That took a lot of trial and error and was a pain - especially when you where just missing one frame of the animation.
