My dream job.  I always thought it would be cool to be able to work with/for Stern.

Already been down this road ;) . If I knew Autocad I'd be doing this, I live 20 minutes away. Since I didn't they took some college punk. :P  They wanted someone to take the torch from Steve Ritchie and learn under him.

85vett,

How the hell do you make these tables!?

I would love to contribute something to the community in some way, All your tables you've done are top notch!

hard work ,patience, a smattering of curse words, and a very understanding significant other!

we work for months at a time to make these pins and for some of them it shows!

oh and about that three year thingie:

11) The last of the Whitestar games is Nascar and according to Gaston expires in August, thus our plan is to release VPM fully open source on that day.

Whitestar is old news, I don't think that really relates here

I've always known that digital recreations of pinball machines is a good thing & generates interest in real pinball.

(I purchased my first pin Indiana Jones back in 2001 after getting hooked on VPM)

I think releasing recreations of new in production machines would be great for Stern.

Saying that the only reason Stern might crackdown on VPM recreations would be if they started releasing their new games

on pinball arcade & that seems a real possibility:
