Content Provider Blacksad Posted March 20, 2019 Content Provider Share Posted March 20, 2019 Welcome back @pinball58 , really happy to meet you again here, it was in my opinion a real pity that your superb work was no longer shared. I still play regularly with your version of Space Shuttle which still gives me as much fun ! I had made a new B2S for fish tales here for those who are interested : EnJoY ! Content Provider CarnyPriest Posted March 26, 2019 Content Provider Share Posted March 26, 2019 If you are using a clone romset then perhaps you also need the parent set. Check you rom with Setup -> Test for missing sound roms. All supported sets are available here at VPU. The parent rom set tends to be the one with the largest file size. IronMan8Bit
Absolutely love this table and just a newbie question, but just curious why the text on the rule cards are blurry? Is this just because there isn't a higher resolution picture out there? I think on every table I have they're all so clear you mistake them for even being digital. Content Provider CarnyPriest Posted July 26, 2019 Content Provider Share Posted July 26, 2019 Seems legible to me for the most part. Always room for improvement, I guess. Pretty sure the author obtained the cards from Inkochnito's reproductions. Looks like reverse of French and German cards. There is an English card in the collection with different typeface. I have that one in Adobe Illustrator format if you want it. In other words, it is vector based so you can scale it up or down and curves and edges will remain nice and smooth. Eventually, it will have to be exported to PNG and you would replace the old card image with the new card image in score&instructions_card.png within the table's Image Manager sizing the card to fit where it is placed in the image. It is an underlay to the full playfield image. It's not that difficult to do if you have some basic skill with graphics programs.

Thanks for the explanation that helps a ton and was just curious how these beauties get made.
