Pincontrol1 query

Hi

I’m completely new to DOF and im just researching at the mo, but i have a Pincontrol1 and i believe DOF R3 works with that....but does the DOF config tool? I can’t see it as an option so i assume not, or is there a work around?

Any idiot guides to DOF with a Pincontrol1 would be hugely appreciated too!

Dof r3 does NOT work with the Pincontrol Family, either 1 or 2!!! It works with an Artnet device, which PC1 is programmed for. So if you ever need to do some settings, Artnet device would be your choice in the controller setup.
You need to get a very special setting from the seller, a cabinet.xml, a outdated version of dof 2 etc etc.

Also be aware that a wrong wiring could burn your Pincontrol, and in a few cases (for those of you who doubt it, I have enough evidences!!!) also your mainboard or other peripherals!!!

Greets,
Dom

Naaaah, no ledwiz!!! PLEASE!!! :D

Go either Pincontrol or even better: Pinscape ;)

If you want to go the diy route then mjrnet.org is the place to go, or if you like ready made products then https://germangamingsupplies.com/Pinscape-Expansion-Board_1 is the right place.

And before some people scream that this is a shady shop and people get ripped of there: NO!!!
Delay affects only products that contain rgb led panels (out of stock atm), Pinscape and other products are not affected.

Thats all bullshit!!

The PinControl1 is a Ledwiz equivalent and works with DOF R2.

The PinControl2 works like an Artnet device and works with DOF R2, R3, R3Beta AND R3++.

But not with DOFlinx today, but the DOFlinx specialist is willing to implement it!

Please, can someone tell me, how a Arduino can burn a Mainboard?

I don't know about that what Rappelbox is talking about...

@Iain1986 you can use a PC1 or a PC2 without having any trouble.

More than 500 times sold without having problems at implementing it into a VPIN.

If you would go DIY than buy an PinScape..

Wrong wiring caused burning the Arduino in at least 3 cases and in at least 2 cases the mainboard was damaged as well. I never said it was the boards fault, learn to read more carefully.

Since it’s not separated electrically it can be damaged very easily...

Yes, you’re right regarding PC1: it’s a ledwiz clone!
Pc2 is a Artnet device, not a independent protocol or dedicated device like other controllers...

Implementation into doflinx is not confirmed until released, I heard so many proposals from you regarding analog nudge and analog plunger on PC2, none of them true for now... instead you tell people (your own customers) that they’re idiots!? Nice business habit!!!

And don’t EVER again try to f*ck me up again until you can take the answer.

Yes it is. IF you have only the PC1, use it like LEDWIZ ID1.. If you have a ledwiz and a PC1, than use the PC1 as LEDWIZ ID2... in the Driver CD you can found a folder for DOF... there are all files needed.

@ Rappelbox

You´re wrong. The PC1 is not a LEWDIZ Clone!! It´s a NETCOM Device...

At the beginning of the PC1, it don´t function with DOF, but Cyclemat and Arngrim implemented it in the LEDWIZ comunication protocol, so for now it seems like an ledwiz, but it´s not.

AND if you want to see, how the PC2 can nudge in PBFX2 without using any key and any other software like "xbox360ce" like the PS needed, feel free to come to me... I´ll show you all the benefits of the PC2, so you are right informed..
