A directb2s is not good if the table isnt coded to handle it.

Some tables may be old and use the  .exe backglasses.

Original tables - again .. if it isnt coded for a backglass there likely isnt one available. You a picture and pinballx to place something on the backglass.

I have a backglass for every table in my cab..

I see at least 3 that I have on my site, so some are out there. So you're b2s's no longer work? Or you just want to replace them for the sake of replacing them? I have 794 tables on my cab, 76 are b2s's. They all work just fine.

i use the directb2s files to export the background image for creating my own wheels. i can't do that with the b2s exe files.

Just updating my backglasses when I saw this post. The list could be trimmed down even furher. Forget the cocktail tables (Black Velvet, Camel Lights, Caribbean Cruise, Chuck-a-luck, and any others) as they never had a backglass to start with. I suppose a fantasy BG could be done, but it probably would not be worth the effort, both creatively and program-wise.

Slugfest would be a challenge. A topper is definetely worth doing for that table as well. And EM tables would need to be rescripted to use the BG and the script included with the BG download. But that works well, as some BG authors have done that when they've published. I don't have a cab, but the BG's I have for the EM tables look great. (A nod to rosve here 'cause I think he started the whole EM BG's thing with his *B2S.exe's.)

Likewise originals. Many deserve a .b2sdirect backglass.
