dkeruza
Hi, So....I have been trying for days, searching everywhere and cannot make it work. I am trying to make the Metallica and ACDC roms to display the colorization in my PIN2DMD before I install everything on my real Machine. I have vpinmame 2.9, I have installed the dmddevice.dll from the last version of pin2dmd and the vpinmame.dll that I got from here. Rom starts, but I dont see colors. I also tried creating the folder "altcolor" in the vpinmame folder then game name folder Ex: "mtl_170hc" and inside pin2dmd.pal file. Still no color What am I missing or doing wrong? Thanks for the help!!!!
Thalamus
Ticked 'use ext dmd' and 4 colors in pinmame ( F1 ). Both need to be enabled.
Content Provider lucky1 Posted September 26, 2017 Content Provider Share Posted September 26, 2017 Did you check the colorize checkbox in the options ?

Thalamus
Have you patched the rom ? For me to get it to work I needed to patch the mtl_170h (LE) rom with the patch at this site, and I don't remember now if there is just a *.dat file inside the archive or if it is called pin2dmd.pal already. That file goes into your \vpinmame\altcolor\mtl_170hc as pin2dmd.pal The rom needs to be called mtl_170hc.bin in a file called mtl_170hc.zip - and of course you then need to edit the table to use that rom file ... look for cgamename.
