Content Provider lucky1 Posted January 24, 2017 Content Provider Share Posted January 24, 2017 Where did you get this from ? Currently Uncle Sash, Rappelbox, PinballSP, Ozstick and maybe some others manufacture the controller hardware needed for pin2dmd. So to answer your question - No it is not true. rablack97
So what was the big argument about open source and Uncle Sash pulling down his documentation and the money being used for charity etc. Was this all cleared up, and if so, where is a link to get the current hardware? Rappelbox
I think that "argument" and discussion has been set aside some time ago. Depending on where you live and you'd like to do/have there are several options:Www.germangamingsupplies.comUncleSash here at the forum To name some and others lucky1 mentioned above. Content Provider lucky1 Posted January 25, 2017 Content Provider Share Posted January 25, 2017 As long as the panel, the stm32F4 discovery board and the firmware is available there should be no problem to build a pin2dmd. Remember, even if there are preassembled hardware kits available from various sources, pin2dmd is based on and still is a DIY solution.
