Joppnl
Hello, I'd like to ask you this (noob) question... At this moment I have a 2 monitor setup on my VP so the backglass display will display both the backglass and the DMD. On some tables I use the .DMC files together with the program setDMD which will change certain colorvalues in the register for each table. This will give me a colorDMD on my monitor for the tables I want a color display for. When I switch to Pin2DMD will I stil get my DMD in color like I get now or do I need new color-files especially for Pin2DMD? If so...where to find these colorfiles, are they available? And last (nob) question: when using the Pin2DMD in a VP do you need a SDCard and if so...for what? Thank you!
Jodannar
You can use the dmc files for pinmame as you are now with the Pin2DMD. Stern tables need to be handled differently though due to their 16 colour palette
Rappelbox
Vpinmame is already set to use coloring options for some tables. These information is already usable for pin2dmd. If you change the system from monitor to pin2dmd these settings are kept and given to pin2dmd by pinmame.
Joppnl
thank you. and on a VPmachine: do you need the SD card and if so, for what? Or is it used on real machines to store the color palette (and so not in use for VP machines)?
Jodannar
Don't need it on a vpin machine Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
jukedock
I thought you needed SD card for the key file to register your device
