Hello Pinball Folks!

 

Here is Sascha.... the #Pin2DMD Shield Hardware Designer.

 

One Guy in the Forum aksed me for a really nice PCB.

A "Back surge Diode Shield" or "Flyback Diode Shield"... a really usefull little helper.

 

It is so simple, it protects your Powersupply from Overvoltage when you switch OFF your Solenoid!

 

 

Tech Specs:

  • 8 Channels for Common Ground!
  • each Channel can run on a Different Voltage
  • all components are THT (Through-hole technololgy) for aesy self repair
  • every Channel has his own Control - LED (Channel ON or OFF)
  • LEDs can be switched OFF
  • easy to Install

Hi Sascha (or anybody else)

 

Earlier threads on forums state that the diode should be as close to the feedback device. Are there issues when having such a board as yours?

 

ie solenoids are placed all around the cabinet

Yes, You are right.

The best is when the flyback diode is so close as possible to the coil.

But my PCB should work.

The wire length in the cabs are not so long.

And when you buy a PCB from me and it not works, you send the PCB back to me and you get your money back.

And when it works, you have to make a review post with pictures!!! [emoji57]
