Vp- Lwclone - Dof Not Running - Solved

Hello Folks.

I hope this is not to Off Topic and maybe not search able somewhere else.... because I don´t find an explicit example and solutions of my Problem.
But I heard already that also other people made similar experiences.

 

Ok... here we go...

 

My Situation was:

 

PC (Desktop) with:

• Visual Pinball (8, 9.21, 9.92, 9.92 PhsMod, X)
• PinballX FrontEnd
• Pin2DMD DMD Display
• 2x LEDWizClone (1x Arduino Mega2560, 1x Arduino Leonardo)

 

So far I had all running in the PinballX Frontend and everything except the DOF with VisualPinball.
That means that PinballX was already working with the LED WIZ Clone and the added LEDs

 

Now it was time to add the LEDWizClone into the DOF and play it with VisualPinball.

 

I installed everything in my VisualPinball sub Folder (like on the DOF Install manual) DOF R1 and DOF R2!!!

Made the DOF Config and placed the Files in the "config" Folder, unblock ALL DLLs.

Activat the DOF/B2S Server in the Script from my Test Table (250cc).

 

But nothing happens.

 

I searched for 3 Days the web and found just nothing except one post in a german forum but without a solution.

So I contacted the nice Guy from the Post in the German Forum and asked him.

But he was away from Home and just gave my the hint to check my VisualPinball Folder structure and in 2 Weeks he will give more help (when he is back home).

 

And don´t forget all the rest in the DOF Config Manual.

Like the adjustment in the core.vbs, edit the table scripts, etc.

Then I tried couple changes in the Folder Structure and the Final was that everything is working now.

 

 

The Solution (change the Folder Structure):

 

OLD and WRONG VisualPinball Folder Structure:

 

Visual Pinball root:
"D:\200 Vpin\VisualPinball"

tables:
"D:\200 Vpin\VisualPinball\tables"

B2S Server:
"D:\200 Vpin\VisualPinball\tables"

DOF:
"D:\200 Vpin\VisualPinballtables\plugins\DirectOutput"

DOF Config:
"D:\200 Vpin\VisualPinball\tables\plugins\DirectOutput\conf ig"

 

 

 

NEW and ACCURATE (and the ONLY one that worked out for my) VisualPinball Folder Structure:

 

Visual Pinball root:
"C:\VisualPinball"

tables:
"C:\VisualPinball\tables"

B2S Server:
"C:\VisualPinball\tables"

DOF:
"C:\VisualPinball\tables\plugins\DirectOutput"

DOF Config:
"C:\VisualPinball\tables\plugins\DirectOutput\config"

 

 

When everything is Set Up well, you will see the "PlugIn Settings" Button on the B2S Server Setting screen is now able to press like on this pictures:
