coyote
Hey guys - Thought I'd run this by folks here, see if it's something I can fix, or if my display panels are bad. Essentially, the image/animation/display is all stepped up one line. The top line appears at the bottom: Using sash's v2 panel, and 1.2x ROM. Haven't tried updating ROM yet.. Thanks! -Mike
Content Provider lucky1 Posted March 7, 2016 Content Provider Share Posted March 7, 2016 Hi Mike, this is due wrong sycing point. We have reworked the real pinball input routine totally and added a automatic resync routine in the 2.03. if something like this happens. I would suggest you try the 2.02 or wait until we release the 2.03 this week. Since our charity project hasn´t received a donation from you so far, I would prefer you send me your device ID together with a donation (e.g. 10$ per device). Thanks for your patience and support. coyote
Lucky - Have you guys tested with a PinLED DMD Driver board? I believe that's the issue.. Since noone else has reported this problem, and the PinLED boards aren't as popular as the XPin or RD boards, I figured I'd check. Otherwise, I'll just have to sell my getup. Content Provider lucky1 Posted March 8, 2016 Content Provider Share Posted March 8, 2016 We haven´t tested on PINLED board. I have just uploaded version 2.03 to github. Please delete your pin2dmd.dat on the SD card and generate a new one using the pin2dmd.exe. About the PINLED if you are willing to try some things to make it work we can start a conversation via PM and I can send you some testing versions. The manufacture of the display gave me another week for testing (today was the last day I could have returned it if it was bad), so I'll donate and grab the latest. If it dosen't work, I'll let you know. One thing to note - on the 1.x FW I'm on, if I press the blue button (I think? Opposite of the rest button), the display 'fixes' itself, displays fine - until I let the button go. Edit: Unfortunately, because of time difference, I won't get the file until tomorrow, but that's not a problem. Thanks- Mike
