Rappelbox
I created a little Panel Test batch-file for testing your RGB Panels. Simply extract the zip file to your pin2dmd folder and run the test.bat If you edit the batch file you can change the duration of every image, add or delete images and so on... This should help to determine if you have bad or dead pixels Greets, Dom Paneltest.zip

AndersE
This does not work for me, as my pin2dmd.exe crash everytime i run it. It works if i press continue, but the bat file does not work more than the first testpic which is just a garbled image with a lot of colors and lines- After that the display goes black and stays so. Rappelbox
As said in the other thread... Always watch out if firmware and pin2dmd are on the same version number. Sometimes there are new releases between shipping and arrival Greets, Dom
AndersE
I got it now. Run the test and one blue led is faulty (the most top right one) and an complete unaligned at most bottom left. I will probably never notice it again, but is there anything to do about the dead blue? Bad solder somewhere perhaps?
Content Provider lucky1 Posted March 14, 2016 Content Provider Share Posted March 14, 2016 you can try to solder it with a heat gun.
AndersE
ok, i see that it is sitting a little bit tilted so 1 leg is probably off. But i won't do anything until i get a microscope.
