Content Provider bent98 Posted February 12, 2016 Content Provider Share Posted February 12, 2016 I just received my Pin2DMD board preflash by no other then Uncle Sash and I cant seem to get it to work. I installed the drivers, made sure there is only 1 instance of pindmd in device manager. I am, using latest 2.6 version of pinmame.dll fopr pin2dmd. I have pindmd checked in setup as well. I am getting error saying pindmd is not found. I also tried running pin2dmd.exe and changes the brightness slider which does work but when I hit save it doesnt actually save the changes to the brightness. I am at a loss. Not sure what else to do. I am using Win 10 64 bit for testing and also have 1.28v firmware.
Content Provider lucky1 Posted February 12, 2016 Content Provider Share Posted February 12, 2016 You just have to change your driver from winusb to libusb-win32 using zadig utility to be compatible with old USB library of pinmame from here http://zadig.akeo.ie. You can only store settings when a working SD-card is inserted into the slot (red LED off)

Content Provider lucky1 Posted February 12, 2016 Content Provider Share Posted February 12, 2016 If pin2dmd.exe is working and pin2dmd shows as a libusb-win32 device in device manager the device setup is ok. Are you sure you use the right pinmame version ? Please try this VPinMAME_SAM_NON_PINDMD_PINDMD2_PIN2DMD_2.26.zip from here http://vpuniverse.com/forums/files/download/2480-vpinmame-sam-for-desktop-cab-pindmd1-pindmd2-pin2dmd/
