BobAlbright
I decided the other day to play some Judge Dredd and found that I did not have any voices or music anymore (I do get flipper and ball rolling sound). I'm using the latest version of the Sam Pinmame. On a whim, I thought I'd try the Pinmame dll from the latest standard Pinmame dll and I have the sound with it. This is the ONLY table I've discovered that does this--so as I said--it's no big deal. But I was wondering if there is some sort of workaround that would get the sound back on JD. I don't want to lose the ability to play some of the awesome Stern tables so I really don't want to use the standard dll. Any thoughts ? Content Provider arngrim Posted July 9, 2015 Content Provider Share Posted July 9, 2015 check in pinmame options of the rom to see if sound is disabled, you can go there with F1 during game to check

BobAlbright
The version I'm using is a teapotee beta version. I don't see one from toxie
Content Provider arngrim Posted July 9, 2015 Content Provider Share Posted July 9, 2015 No i mean vpm from toxie, but since it works with mine on my machine, that is not the problem, you tried outside of pinballx?
BobAlbright
Sorry for the confusion. Yes...I can get sound when using Toxie latest Vpinmame. Swap it out with the latest Sam Pinmame dll and it goes away. Weird
BobAlbright
And I've been launching from the editor. I use Hyperpin...not sure if I tried to launch it from there or not...but I'll check next time I'm at the cab. I don't think it'll make a diff tho
Content Provider arngrim Posted July 10, 2015 Content Provider Share Posted July 10, 2015 You use mine 2.14?
BobAlbright
Yes...2.14...the latest. Just had a thought...when I inpstalled the new 2.14, I did not swap out the Sam vbs or the scilexer file. Only replaced the Pinmame dll. Would that matter?
Content Provider arngrim Posted July 10, 2015 Content Provider Share Posted July 10, 2015 No, did you push the install button on setup.exe?
BobAlbright
That was it..thanks for hanging in there with me. I didn't think that was necessary to do once Pinmame was already installed. Again..a big TU
