KOPTango
@randr - Yep I use mamelayplus too, thanks to some helpful people on here and other sites . It looks great and it's not hard to use. Got lots of pro looking ones like that first 1944 pic but had to use blank standard bezels for some, adding a 'homemade top graphic section' for some that didn't have any cause I don't have the skills to make the really pro ones like that first 1944 pic. ATM some of the pro ones have a glass style reflection on them. I guess I will have to change those ones once the cab is done and has glass on it? I just wish they would updated the Mame version again cause my daughter loves lemmings but it has no sound when playing it on the current version. No 'Oh No' and pop when they explode... boooooo!! randr - do you have a joystick attached? These other android etc options look interesting too! The changes to mame from 153 onwards have meant that I can not seem to compile mamelayplus cleanly from 152 onwards sadly. It may be possible but just not for me . If this is not exceptable to post a mame build then please remove it , but here is Mamelayplus64 with no nag and hiscore.... mame64.zip

Better than other suggestions I've seen floating around. Haven't tried the vector settings yet, but on a cab I guess we'd be limited to Tempest for vector games that have a vertical orientation: https://docs.google....tUnc/edit?pli=

I do have a joystick and 6 buttons (cheaap usb thing) that has suction cups on button that i would use for games. really works well and suctions to glass covering just lower "bezel"

Forgot to specify that it is 152 so will need the 152 HLSL and artwork folders to work of coarse. May also be worth running mame -cc again to update your .ini just incase there is anything new needs to be added.

Deleted ini folder. Created a mame.ini from the official executable and moved it to a new ini folder. Then I reran the INI_creator. Tested the official. Ran an ini from your executable. Overwrote the official ini with the mame64 one. Everything is working great. Like the no nag a lot. At some point, I'm probably just going use some other version of MAME and create some custom lay files so that I can use the official bezels. Most of the games I'm interested in are golden age early 80's stuff. LH didn't really do any artwork for games in this era, so I just have the plain bezel. Still a cool look for cabs, though.
