Dark
[resolved] OKAY IGNORE THIS POST AND GO ABOUT YOUR BUSINESS, DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME READING THIS UNLESS YOU'RE HAVING YOUR OWN ISSUES Solution: Reinstalled vpinmame again and got it working. Okay after updating dll file for new SAM I'm having the same issue as in this thread here: (I had no problem like this previously with dmd saving position) http://vpuniverse.com/forums/topic/836-sam-dmd-trouble-sos/page-3 At the end of this thread a user "Numiah" said he right clicked rom and checked the "cabinet" option, I don't seem to have that option? -I tried replacing the vpm.dll with the one from the test.zip but no luck. -When I right click on dmd and check game settings for the rom I don't have the option to click "cabinet" as seen in the image on this page here: http://vpuniverse.com/forums/files/file/2480-vpinmame-sampindmdunity-unified-version/ When I click info on my dmd/vpinmame it confirms I have 2.5 (Install version 1.42), I recently tried reinstalling VP cabinet build from VP forums just to be sure but same thing. What am I missing here, how do I get the option to enable cabinet mode like the image I posted above? Also that has the option for coloured dmd and a few other options I don't have. Is there a newer download somewhere or something that I'm missing? When I put the old dll back all my dmds are back in the correct position. I'm running windows XP so it's not a matter of running things as administrator. I run a 2 screen set up, no dedicated dmd display. Thanks in advance. 32assassin
I never had a problem re-sizing any of the dmd windows but I was wondering the same thing, why don't I have the option of having the Cabinet mod option show up on my pinmame. I download multiple versions of pinmame and the .dll file with no luck. I re installed windows for some other reasons, ran pinmame after the install and it magically appeared. you may wan't to clear the pinmame registry and see if you have any luck. The DMD size and color settings are saved in your registry, I tested out the Color DMD dll ran a few tables with it, I eventually deleted the color DMD dll because it does not have any of the stern rom entries. to my supprise the DMD color settings are still their even though I'm now running the Vpinmame SAM/PINDMD 1.
