  1. Hi members, this is my wip of lord of the rings sso far... i've done about 70-80% of it but atm i feel a bit tired because of all the drama, greed, missinformation going on behind the scenes and sometimes even publicly... for now you can get the beta files here: Password is: VisualPinballAddicts Once I have the power to finish it I will upload it here. Cheers Dom EDIT: I hereby prohibit uploading, redistributing and repackaging these files!
  2. After I could not find any colorization files for MM, I started my own project two weeks ago. This is my first try of using the awesome Pin2Dmd Editor by Steve. Version Beta 1.1 Thank you all for the great reactions to my works and many thanks for those who sent some drinks, cheers! Now the time is right to provide an update, that reduces some major issues and adds a bit more niceness to the game ( I hope so :-) )... Changelog: Flickering frames while choosing items for catapult reduced to a minimum Added more detailed troll animations (not finished yet... I colorized over 170 frames, frame by frame and hash by hash, but there are still some frames missing. The color mask solution before also had a lot of glitches, so I decided to give you that new version :-)) Fix for right outlane Joust Charge counts (only showed Joust Charge 1 before), colorization is done until Joust Charge 8 Fix for some minor timing and transition issues Color and keyframe adjustments for some scenes Colorized some missing Jackpot and score scenes Instructions: Download the attached rar file and extract the content into your vpinmame\altcolor\mm_109c folder. For any requests for real pins please pm me. Medieval Madness Beta 1.1.rar PLEASE DO NOT SHARE OR UPLOAD SOMEWHERE ELSE! IF YOU GET ANY REQUEST, PLEASE LEAD THE PEOPLE TO THIS THREAD...THANK YOU! And once again, just to mention it: I am not doing this to make money, but if you like to send me a drink or something, feel warmly invited to use the Tip button below.
  3. hi, I started a colorization project for the Gottlieb SYS3 "Barbwire", but I am having some difficulty understanding the logic of the Pin2DMD editor. Either I did something wrong, or there is a bug because the result does not correspond to the programmed behavior. I use the latest firmware (Colorprism v3.08) and the latest editor release (v2.5.0.6 dated 02-07-2020 - so very recent). I've created a simple project: only two palettes (one default with green shades, and one with normal colors red/orange/yellow/blue) only two scenes, the startup screen and the "replay at screen", using colormask mode the two scenes are triggered by two keyframe, using a little mask M0 (same for both, but of course, with different values) The project can be downloaded here :Barbwire.zip When testing with VpinMame, it's works, but not exactly as expected. The first scene is well detected, the palette is loaded and the areas (lines) are well colorized (BARB*WIRE ... Gprom checksum) ✔️OK. The next sequence is an error message, not triggered, and colorized with the default palette. ✔️OK, that look normal. The scores/game_over is displayed. Same as above, not triggered, and colorized with the default palette. ✔️OK, that look normal too. The "Replay At" sequence is displayed. Triggered, so use the correct palette and the areas are also well colorized. ✔️OK, till now, the behavior is normal and logic. The score/game_over is displayed again. But this time, the palette/areas is ❌ WRONG. Use blue/orange, but as there is nothing triggered here, it should use the default palette (green) The sequence continue, with high scores. As nothing is triggered, the default palette is used. ✔️OK, we return here to something logical. I'm newbie in colorization and try to understand how to use Pin2DMD editor. I've read documentation and watched tutorials, but I can't understand this behavior. What I'm doing wrong? Why the score/game displayed after the "Replay At" still use the same palette? I will be glad if someone could explain me, why this behaviour. Here is the video of what happen at startup: Barbwire_test.mp4 Barbwire_test.mp4
  4. So started up on Godzilla, just started today. If things need fixed on T2, Lethal Weapon, or Baywatch, this will get put on hold. LW3 and Baywatch are both being privately tested before release. Looks better than having end users beta test "releases" IMO. 5th colorization, Im getting pretty good at these meow. Recording provided by Rappel. More is done than what is shown in the GIFs (15 scenes in total), I've been doing much better at dynamic palette changes which takes much less time than recoloring scenes when it isnt needed.
  5. Some weeks ago I started to colorize IJPA for a friend who owns a real pin. But I thought I could maybe share the progress, so here are some first impressions. click images to watch animation:
  6. All, I started playing with this just for fun, I was not very familiar with the table but the colorization was going pretty smoothly so I kept working on it for about a week. I have posted the beta version in the downloads section, please remember that this is still an early release I am aware of the the bugs to this point, there are a few modes I have not started yet I would estimate the project to be 60% complete. I will be taking some time off during the summer months, kids are out of school and the outdoors calls! I will be back and checking in periodically, Cheers!
