    From factory PDF. Converted and colorized the instruction card/swapped raster logo for vector version. Two different versions with one based on the shot map and the other based on my own color palette. Straight conversion of factory shot maps to Flash. Latest SAM VPM required from this topic: Table by freneticamnesic, based loosely on 85vetts PM5 table, with code additions by gtxjoe and DJRobX. Redraw of plastics and playfield done by freneticamnesic. DOF addition by arngrim.   3. Ok so I updated vpinMAME to 2.9 and then followed the instructions for the SAM 2.9 update. vpinmame dll TICK...sam vbs TICK... but... What do I do with the pinMAME.exe in the SAMbuild29 zip? Thanks Carny for this update btw the ACDC table now works as it should. Oh Yeah!
  4. Hello everybody, I´ve recently updated my PBXRecorder from version 1.3 to 1.5. And I´ve also upgraded my VPinMAME SAM build to Version 2.9 beta. Now I´m encountering that I cannot record SAM tables anymore. VPX starts, the table will be initialized, but it does not start attract mode and VPX closes just before the recording begins. I´ve switched back to my former versions (SAM build 2.8b and PBXR 1.3), but still the same behavior. All other tables will be recorded fine - so, PBXR settings seem to be ok. Maybe I have to unblock a specific file, which I haven´t unblocked yet? Does anybody have an idea or hint for me? Many thanks in advance! Kind regards, Jannek

Thanks for everyone's patience in the release of this table. I'm not sure what the most recent code is for Met Pro so you will most likely want to update that. Just download the most recent version and change it in the script. This is a Physmod 5 table of which I highly recommend playing it in this version due to the much improved flipper physics. A VP9.9 version was not created. I was going to build a specific table in that version but lost interest. If anyone wants to make a conversion to VP 9.9 approval is granted to release. Thanks to Dark for the Sparky head. I used a moddified version of JP's AFM ship movement script for the head so I should give credit to him for that. It's pretty cool using that script as nudging makes his head bobble, just like the real table. Thanks to Fren for letting me use some of his Met table redraw. I had most of it already but was able to fill in some gaps from his PF. Thanks to my testers - you know who you are. Some people have experienced some issues with balls getting stuck on the cross. I've made a couple of adjustments which seems to have removed that problem. Hopefully that issues doesn't pop up anymore. Gameplay wise is very fast as I adjusted settings to play like my real Met table. I keep it waxed and super fast thus why this table is fast. I encourage everyone to play with the settings to make the game play as they wish. Full rights to mod are given at this time. It's been a fun ride building tables so hopefully everyone enjoys this one. Hopefully I'll get the bug again some day to build tables again. Click here to download this file

This is one of my favorite tables so I wanted to do a detailed recreation of the table. Some of the plastics are not factory recreations but the table itself is. I also added a couple extra (like the cannon blast). Their are two version of the table. The normal version requires a pretty strong PC to run it due to the image resolution. The low res version should work on most PC's. Their are A LOT of alpha flashers though so if you still can't run the table you may need to start commenting out some of the non-critical ones (I.E. the non back panel light bulb ones). You will need the SAM files for VP. These are available on this site in the download section. You will also need the ROM. It is on the stern website (Click here for ROM information) Their is a direct B2S backglass available already (thanks Wildman). and the media pack is here - http://vpuniverse.com/forums/files/file/2459-pirates-of-the-caribbean-stern-2006-85vett-fs-101/ If you wish to mod the table an release it please let me know. That is not an option so I selected "no" for the permission to mod. I've got over 200 hours in this table so I hope you all enjoy. Only semi bug I am aware of is the ball hangs up at the one way diverter on the right ramp sometimes. I've played with it a lot and haven't been able to get it better. The ball can be moved with a light nudge so it shouldn't be a show stopper. Hi, I've attached the new experimental 64bit build based on v2.25a for non-PinDMD, PinDMD2, and Pin2DMD. note that the 64bit and 32bit builds can both coexist in the same directory. but you need to run the setup64.exe and press install for the 64bit dll to work. You can find setup64.exe in Toxie's beta distribution here: http://www.vpforums.org/index.php?showtopic=27063&page=1#entry256944 I stress again that this is purely experimental (I haven't tested it yet myself), but I hope that users give it a try to help iron out remaining issues.   10. Hello everyone, I just built my cabinet and got everything setup, and want to thank you for this great resource for material and help. All of my tables are working great except for the Sam Stern ones. They play ok but the sounds are doubled up. Every sound plays twice, separated by about a half second. It's really annoying. POTC was the first SAM table I installed. It did this, but then mysteriously worked a few times before having the issue again. I added Tron and Avengers and now all three are doing the same thing. I tried disabling B2S on Tron but it did the same thing. Any ideas on what could cause this? Thanks!
  11. I am running a cabinet build and am using B2S server. I have Visual Pinball up and running. Bally, Williams, Gottlieb and EM games work fine. But I have several Stern SAM tables (24, Avatar, Family Guy, X-men, and more) that have intermittent launch issues. When in VP, the game might say I have ROM path error, but the ROM is in the correct place with the correct file name per the table script. Then I exit the game, and reopen the game and it might work fine. Then move the DMD to my 3rd monitor, exit game and restart, and DMD is white with static blur. Then close the game, relaunch and the game might be working fine again. Shut down for the night, open game through Hyperpin front end, and DMD back to static blur. Go back to do direct launch from VP Editor, and get ROM path error again. Go back to launch through Hyperpin and game works correctly. Why the inconsistency? What am I missing.
