  1. Check the rom version you use for games. The palette file folder must match the rom version name to be loaded Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I updated to the latest pin2dmd drivers and all work well apart from mustang Le. Still stalls stutters and then doesn't respond with pinmame.@carnypriest can you send me your mustang Le patched to test? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Correction. I used the LE Rom with this LE colourisation And I believe I am still using the 2.x (pre 2.36a)Firmware for my Pin2DMD. I haven't updated since early December
  4. Using the pin2dmd device dll at the moment I believe. I didn't update it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Yeah I patched the Le rom with the pro diff. Works in that it runs but pinmame seems to really struggle with it. Stutters, stalls, doesn't recognise button inputs Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Fantastic step by step guide roar. might be worth breaking this into a separate pinned post outlining the process. I just followed it for my first colourised rom and it worked like a charm. Thankyou! Edit: it has introduced insane audio and pinmame stutter on mustang Le though. Unplayable. However,Metallica tables fine as is AC/DC.
  7. Hi westworld. Your debug routine sounds very useful for people setting this up. Are you able to share your script? I can successfully flash/colourise/cycle the first 200 leds in my array using a script loses to the teensy, so your debug for looking at what may be wrong in my dof confit for leds would be great. I am betting it's likely something simple like the comport not being recognised Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Nice. I have a spare set of panels and control board at the moment that I may repurpose for this once I see yours all up and running. The curtains are a nice touch for the tom Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. If only mine would work. Teensy can control the lights with a test program but dof won't talk to the teensie and give me output Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Is this intended to reflect/double the DMD animations to the topper, or are you doing something additional as a topper with the pin2dmd Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I have the left flipper double flip sometimes also on twd Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Ground and control go between strips. I injected power every 144 leds Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. The octoboard is what allows you to use the cat5 cable. You can direct solder if you want as an alternative to using it. I used an octoboard but still don't have my leds working with dof Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. 16 shades can be catered for already by just selecting a single colour in the pinmame palate for 100% and leaving the others of using latest pinmame. Older pinmame it is catered for by loading a palates within the table code. This is outlined in many threads Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Superglue the support pins. They reattach without issue. SD card isn't required in a vpin all setup. Have you selected the correct USB driver for the board and set pinmame to use the dmd? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
