  1. Hello all, thought I would share the additions I made to the redraw that fren started a while ago. Fren had gotten it pretty far already and I just continued. Originally I wanted to finish the PF so I could start building the table, but I ran into problems pretty quickly, and then kind of just lost interest. Hopefully someone can pick this table up and give Dark's awesome Bumper car guys a proper home! If anyone is interested in the PSD file of this, let me know. My disclaimer is that my redraw is not perfect by any means.
  2. Looks awesome! I think the image change on the Mick on a Stick is a very nice effect. That is cool that the LE functions are working. I figured it wouldn't be emulated at all so I had put the magnet triggers and posts in originally but downloaded the pro rom. Oh well. And as others have said, man you work fast!
  3. Hey Randr, I would love to see you take on Big Hurt. Thanks for kind words, and thank you for helping me with getting DOF and my Sainsmart working. Your information was a great help for me!
  4. Hey guys, in case you missed the other topic, the Rolling Stones WIP is available for all to check out and modify however they like. It is not complete and at this time, I won't be updating it. But feel free continue the build if you like.
  5. Hello all, I'm too lazy to repost the whole thing, but you can read up on it at VPF. Link I have decided to take a break from building to spend more time with family and other hobbies. I figured my current WIPs should be released for others to pick up. I will say in advance, my scripting is messy and I tend to leave stuff in there that doesn't really need to be there (for example, I use a previous table I made as a base and start modifying it). I also try to keep similar things together, like rollover switches in one place, standup targets in one place, etc...but I often throw stuff in the middle of nowhere...sorry about that. Anyways, you can read more specifically about what each WIP needs in the post above. Those table are: Lost in Space Frank Thomas Big Hurt And Robocop And of course the one I didn't post there is The Rolling Stones: TRS is missing lots of plastics and decals. I'm was hoping to get some resources for those but they haven't turned up yet. If I come across them. I can share them with whoever would like to pick this one up. Also, the Mick Jagger moving script is not done yet but I contacted a very capable author that I'm sure can script it when time allows. Currently, Mick moves via a script that originally came from some unknown source. It is not really accurate, as he only moves one spot in one direction, until he gets to the end of that direction and moves back the other direction in the same manner. Likewise, if I recall, the switch hits on Mick aren't working either. Here is the current WIP: WIP The Rolling Stones Feel free to play these WIPs as is, or modify them to your heart's content and release them in their completed state, which I encourage! If anyone was on the fence about starting to build, maybe these WIPs would be a good starting point. The artwork itself is a good place to start. I still suck at the whole process but I've learned some things. And like me, you'll come across some really helpful and willing folks here so have at it!
  6. Sorry for leaving this one broke for a while. Been kind of busy, and somewhat burnt out. I will upload a (hopefully) fixed version soon. so it sounds like I need to: 1. minimize the playfield image size to 1024 x 2048 2. change the loadVPM script from DE to Sega 3. I think I saw some B2S and plunger changes? 4. Have Arngrim look it over to ensure DOF is working as it should Did I miss anything else?
  7. Wow, sorry guys for all those errors, I never ran into that issue. I'm not even sure I've heard of that error before. Not sure how to trouble shoot it since I've never experienced it. I'll poke around. Hopefully someone will determine the issue and share.
  8. Hello all. Hope you are enjoying the table so far. Paulohotline discovered that I had forgotten to enable the mechanical plunger (again). I never remember to click that because I don't have a plunger myself. I believe he also lowered the power setting to 150. Thanks Paulo! I believe he also play tested for me so I need to add him into the credits. I am not able to add a screenshot on how to enable the plunger but basically, open up the table in the editor and go to the bottom right of the table and rightclick and select the plunger. The options window to the right should have a tick mark to enable mechanical plunger. enable it, and then change the power setting to your liking.

  11. Thanks to 85Vette for posting the playfield. I decided to try my first Stern SAM build. Still a ways to go, but I am finally starting to be a little more efficient at builds. I started with TMNT (as you can see with the bumper caps). It also helps when looking at other builder's fine tables. It's partially playable, with the moving Mick being the glaring missing piece. I have some ideas on how to script it. I will definitely look at the Batman Dark Knight Crane script, as I think it would be pretty similar with the main difference being different switches are triggered depending on Mick's position. I may give it a go and if I can't get it, I'll probably turn the scripting pros. Plastic resources are a bit surprisingly hard to come by so still looking for some good resources on that. This table overall seems very basic compared to the modern stern pins...no VUKs, very open playfield with very little toys, but it makes for some fast shots and potentially lots of combos. I am currently doing this in PM5.
  12. Wow, so it sounds like there is a VP9, PM5, and a VP10 Shrek version! The more the merrier!!!
  13. Hello all, I too converted the table the Shrek. I also got permission from comicalman (Thank you!!!) to use his resources from his FP Shrek Table.Ninuzzu's plastic redraws look quite good. I may need to compare them. The only issues I ran into converting the table is 1.) for some reason the sound effects for hitting the captive ball no longer work, which I can't understand why as I didn't modify that script or the triggers at all. 2.) I adjusted the pivot point of donkey so that I thought he should rotate about his center just as Stewie does when he turns to face the mini pinball, but the pivot point is apparently is still slightly off so he doesn't quite rotate correctly 3.) some of the playfield insert lights are not quite centered. I'm trying to adjust the Shrek PF to match FG's playfield so that they will line up correctly(via scewing, perspective, scaling, rotating, etC), but so far, not quite there. The table is locked down and I can't figure out how to delete or adjust elements...otherwise I would just move the lights to match the Shrek PF. I also requested permission from Groni but so far, no response.
