  5. @Thalamus: Tried that, still the same error. @HP, yep, patched 1.0.9 and 1.0.10. HP, your table and DMD are great. I guess I'll just live without the BG. I'm stumped.
  6. Okay, I did update to the latest file located here on VPU. Installed the original and then updated to the latest within the download files. It's still doing it. Here is what I get after enabling directb2s in the game's settings... with the table, pov and directb2s in my VPX table folder. Is there a newer version out there somewhere other than what is available on here in the downloads? I cannot get my b2s server to start the evil dead directb2s from my VPX tables folder. Everything else works, just no BG.
  7. Hey Horsepin. Great game btw. Love the movie. I got the table running and it plays just fine. I positioned my DMD on my second screen but at scale 1, it seems small compared to all the videos I've seen that people have shown. The config file won't let me set the scale to 1.5 but only to 2 which makes it too big. Is there a way to resize somewhere in between scales 1 and 2? I played with the dot sizes and it enlarges all the text but leaves the video the same size. Also, I have no Backglass image. Am I doing something wrong or missing a setting somewhere? Is there a separate directb2s out there somewhere? Thanks in advance if you can help. UPDATE: I went in to settings to enable the directb2s and loaded the game and I got a message saying no screenres.txt. I copied my VPX screenres file and put it in evildead in proc. I loaded the table again and it said directb2s doesn't exist. So I found a directb2s, put it in the VPX folder with the table and tried to load one last time and I got the following errors... I hit ok and VPX crashes. I was just playing this table. What the heck did I do wrong?
  8. Ok, I finally got P-ROC installed. Weird thing. I moved the ED table and POV to VPX tables folder and when I load from VPX, it shows the DMD loading animations then disappears.. ? The table's attract mode works but when I tried to add coins or press start, it crashes.. ? For a split second you see the ball load but that's it. On the other hand, i tried loading the table through VPX from P-ROC/games and it loaded with the DMD, video and audio worked and I was even able to interact with buttons. Attract mode worked then as well. Tried pushing start and it crashed as well. Loaded it again and the audio works but no DMD showing now. Table still crashes when pushing start. And on top of everything else, I get absolutely nothing for the backglass, just a black screen on my 2nd monitor. Did I miss a step or two? Thanks in advance if someone could help.
  9. [New Future Pinball] Iron Maiden

View File Iron Maiden Finally! Hello, to all my fellow pinball Edheads! Newbie here, and this is my first time modding an FP table, or any table for that matter, so please go easy on me. Iron Maiden is my favorite band and this is dedicated to them and all of the fans. This table was built in FP using BAM, so it is best played that way. This is strictly a cabinet table only(the desktop version looks terrible, sorry guys) This table is very large and I apologize in advance for any inconvenience, I just couldn't stop adding things! lol. Thank you Francisco666, Slamt1lt and anyone else that has worked off of the original Earthshaker table. Thank you Bruce, Steve, Dave, Adrian, Nicko and Janick for giving us the best music of our lives! Thank you Derek Riggs and all of the other awesome artists who have contributed their talents over the years and of course a huge thanks to Mr. Edward T. Head! Please feel free to give feedback. I look forward to any opinions or suggestions you may have. Enjoy! UP THE IRONS! Submitter watacaractr Submitted 12/01/2017 Category Future Pinball DOFLinx Tables

Hello ifyoucanthinkofit. It was built using BAM for basically cabinets only, 3 monitors. The ball is normal so you may have to tweak your video settings in FP.

  13. Thank you for the quick response on my last post, worked perfectly. Different issue this time. The Pink Floyd table for FP, that I downloaded, has a DMD added in. How do you get the balls in the DMD to count up from 1 instead of down from 5? Not sure how to do this in the script. Also, how do you change the font of the score display in the DMD? Can you even do this? And one last thing, how do you add animation in the DMD? Example: Dark side of the moon logo or something cool like that? Is there a program that allows a newbie like me to customize a DMD? Please help if you can and thank you in advance.

  15. Script issue with Future Pinball table... Please help!

Thank you outhere for the link. Worked perfectly!
  16. Hello everyone. Absolute newbie to FP AND SCRIPTING. I just downloaded the Pink Floyd version of Earthshaker. It's presented as a 3 ball game but in the script you can change it to 5 balls per game. Well it works but the scoreboard reads Ball 1, Ball 0, Ball 1, Ball 2 and Ball 3. Instead of Ball 1, Ball 2, Ball 3, Ball 4 and Ball 5. ???? AND the DMD that was created extra for this reads the same. Is there something in the script I need to change to get the balls to display correctly? Also, how do you set it to play more than one player? And finally, how do you change the credits from 25 cents per game to 50 cents per game for 5 balls? Please help if someone can and thank you in advance. Brian.

  18. Hello everyone. I sure do hope someone can help me with this. I finally upgraded to VPX 10 and I am having the worst time with some tables. When I installed Scared Stiff and Monster Bash, the DMD's have table info extensions below them and I cannot get rid of that extra area. I went in to the script and set the value for "Show DMD Only" to "1", saved, reloaded, and the DMD still looks the same. Am I missing something here? How the heck do you completely hide this section of the DMD? I've attached a photo below for visual reference of the DMD with table info. I apologize if this topic has been discussed. I would appreciate any help that someone could send my way. Thanks in advance.

  21. New Member Looking For Advice

Hello Bigbully, welcome, it's great to be able to have an existing cabinet but you have to find the right size lcd tv to fit so i prefer to find an inexpensive used/new 42 - 46" lcd online or in your local paper and build around it. Custom is the way to go for me. You can find fairly cheap wood and supplies at your local hardware store. Do some research on actual pinball cabinet specs and build from there. All the other equipment will be the easy parts, i.e. computer, graphics card, stereo system, etc. There are many many tutorials and videos on building and setting up your system on the internet. Graphics for the actual cabinet can be either painted on or digitally printed and applied that way. Everybody has their own look and style and you will too. I was a newbie 2 years ago (I don't post much) and have never looked back thanks to this site and the "other" one. Hope this helps... a little.
