  3. Absolute Favorite Vp/fp Of All Time?

For me it was Freefall, the Stern table of the early 80's. I was on a school trip in Berlin and played, for the very first time, a pin with multiball and wire ramps (though it is only one ramp :-)). I was overwhelmed but after that week I never saw this pin again. After about 20 years away from real pinball, in 2012 I stumbled into IPDB.ORG cause of this table as I was searching the internet for it just for fun. And maybe you know the rest: dB2S, backglass server and designer, and a few tables later I'm telling this story here . I know "Freefall" isn't an all time favourite but the second time that I was overwhelmed cause of this table was the moment JP released his fullscreen version of "Freefall" in 2013 : http://www.vpforums.org/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=7254 Great idea for a thread BTW.
  4. File Name: Whirlwind (Williams) (1990) (ICPjuggla, Cosmic80, Herweh) (1.0) (FS) File Submitter: Herweh File Submitted: 15 Jan 2014 File Category: Recreations Permission to Mod: NoROM Name: whirl_l3 VP Version: v9.16 WHIRLWIND for VP9.2+ by ICPjuggla, Cosmic80 and Herweh Playfield by ClarkKent Very, very special thanks to Blackmoor for providing us awesome scans and images of his pin, for play-testing a lot to get the gameplay feeling as accurate as possible and to always be there to answer all our questions. This is a 'from scratch' rebuild. Check out the options in the table script. You are able to select the plunger lane direction, the apron's cards color and the option to rotate the Williams logo on the apron like Whirlwind's fan. Thanks for and to: - Fading lamps code, flasher images and a lot inspiration from JPSalas - Bumper's meshes and a lot inspiration from UncleWilly - Some sound files, flipper tap and saucer code from JimmyFingers - Alpha Ramp Plunger code by Koadic - Ball rolling code by JimmyFingers and/or Rascal - B2B Collision code by Steely & Pinball Ken and Koadic - Play testing by Blackmoor and Lobotomy. Hopefully we haven't forgotten anybody. The table features 'Customizable Options' at the top of the table script. You may select VPinMAME, UVP or B2S, DMD rotation, GI and/or Flashers on/off, Cabinet Sounds or Ball Size. There are some more settings to affect the gameplay. Have a lot fun.
