  1. Hi All, I started a build for a Virtual Pinball / Gaming Computer hybrid cabinet. I'd love to know your thoughts and expect I'll need some of your advice along the way! https://youtu.be/jKgsnzFQZVE Let me know what you guys think and subscribe for all subsequent updates as I progress.
  2. BTW Thalamus, did you remove the Philips plastic logo from the bottom of the monitor? If you did, was it an easy process or did you need to break it off?
  3. I have this monitor on reserve as my main playfield Philips BDM4350UC - https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01CO2QT4M/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Thalamus, I believe you use the same monitor or something similar. My computer is high spec with a GTX 1080ti GPU, anything I should know about this Monitor as regards to virtual pinball before they ship? You thoughts as an owner would be extremely useful. Thanks!
  4. Thanks, looks great! I’ll probably go down that route then.
  5. Thanks, Gotta admit, I'm liking your cabinet! How do 90's era games and modern tables such as TNA look on this setup? Do you ever play such games on your build? Would be good to see how they appear on a good 2 monitor setup. BorgDog, have you got any pics or videos running those type of games on your cabinet?
  6. https://vpinball.com/forums/topic/star-wars-wedgehead/ Nice!
  7. I quite like the idea of a vertical 4k as a Backbox. Would probably need to hide a portion under the playfield and have another portion stick out of the top for a topper. Does anyone have any experience with running two 4k panels?
  8. Hi Guys, So, below is the computer hardware I will be using... CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 Motherboard: Asus Prime B450 M Motherboard Socket AM4 (mATX, AMD AM4, DDR4 Memory Natives M.2 USB 3.1 Gen 2) SSD: Sabrent M.2 NVME SSD 550GB GPU: Nvidia GTX 1080ti RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB Desktop Memory Kit Power Supply: Aerocool Lux 650 W 80Plus Bronze I have my eye one the following TV as a playfield option: TV 43" LG 43UM7000PLA 4K, thoughts? I would appreciate suggestions and options for 2nd and 3rd (even 4th) monitor for DMD/Topper and Backbox. Or even if you think I should use another vertically aligned 4k TV to handle all three using a 2 monitor setup? Im assuming the GPU can handle all the above options. At this point I have not built any cabinet so any opinion as to the best build can be considered. I look forward to your help guys and gals. Thanks
  9. Hi Guys, I'm new to the whole virtual pinball scene and would like some advice... Is there any down side to creating a two monitor setup? I was considering the following... 43" 4k TV for playfield and a 32" 4k placed vertically for all backbox requirements. I could possibly have the 32" stick out of the top of the backbox as a topper. Is this a good setup? Also, IF this was the way to go, on a 90's pin does the software overlay artwork for the spaces around the dmd. I.E. will the software render digital speaker images etc while using the full backbox for older EM games. I would place the physical speakers elsewhere in this setup, possibly the front of the cabinet. Hardware: Core I7, 16gb ram and Nvidia RTX 2070 I look forward to your advice. Thanks
