  1. I just ended up versioning up 1.1 making sure I got the right VPX, checked it 3X, saved it to another folder, and this is now 1.2, nothing differen from 1.1 except the changes from 1.1 are actually in the 1.2 file
  2. Yeah, sorry I don't know what happened I will look at home, and see if the version I have on my cab is the updated one, for sure I can't hear the rails, and the white house doesn't behave differently which was the whole point of 1.1 so let me check, and I'll update it tonight.
  3. There is, I need to re-visit the apron, as it's a 3D Model currently, and that's not always the way it's done, what would help is good detailed pictures of the apron, so I can pull the art and re-do the apron model.
  4. I went through PinballX, took a quick look at Hyperpin, and both seemed to be very user friendly, but not very flexible, when it came to organization, and features. Pinup Popper, was that (Flexible and Easy to organize your games and media) but alas it's not very user friendly to setup. It took me a couple of hours, with tutorials, and I develop software for a living. So it's not what I'd call Plug and Play. Once running it's very easy to update, and customize, every so often you run into a "Why is it doing that" Like when it finds multiple Icons with the title "Airborne" and one is the correct one and one is not, and it keep cycling through them. Either way you can typically find a way to get that sorted. And I have WAY more experience with Popper than my short lived experience with PinballX, so I have come across way more head-scratchers with popper than with pinballx, that being said TerryRed is putting a lot of effort into this project and I feel he has a lot of good ideas and is generous with his time, so I will just leave this with : It's not easy to setup, once configured the way you want it can do many things others can't / won't.

  7. You're all welcome, but it's this awesome community, and robwaade that wouldn't let it sit, unchallenged. I just took it upon myself to try and listen, and learn. And I'm about to release Secret Service, which has taken all the knowledge gained from POTO and put it to good use... still couldn't have done it without 32Assassin, but I'm getting to the point where I might solo a table...
  8. Good point, I'm still learning how all this works, having only experienced the Arcade Mame world, the roms either work or they don't, I never had the experience where a dev, would support the rom specifically. Awesome community!

  11. Yeah, that sucks... I don't know where that's coming from, but I don't know that I have the brain space to start re-learning assembly and trying to debug this... Not to mention even if you could, signing the binary after the patch...
  12. When you say "No Problem" do you mean the match runs as expected? Or the poto_32.zip loads without errors?
  13. Maybe I'm barking up the wrong tree, I've been told that Phantom of the Opera pinball used to (VP9) not have it where it "Hung" on the notes being played by the DMD, and slowing things down for the match to complete by a factor of 10 or more. I downloaded a new package on this site : Which is older than the originally posted 3.2 version. The issue being the table VB Script shows this : Const cGameName="poto" so no version is implied, yet when I rename poto_32.zip to "old_poto_32.zip" and add the version 31 to the rom folder it won't run. So can you run with this rom? And does anybody know what the culprit is with the Phantom of the opera rom ? I remember seeing someone who had a faulty rom chip do this in an actual machine, and after re-seating it, it worked again? Could this be something to do with a random number function failing to get data or trying to access some RealTimeClock to get the time to generate random numbers for the match ?

View File Fireball (Bally 1971) This is my First B2S Backglass, I wanted to stay true to the original, but I had some problems figuring out what the original was doing, with limited video reference, and most people focusing on the play field and not the back-glass. That being said it was fun to work on an Electro-Mechanical display in 2019 and I hope it adds to your enjoyment of the VPX or other table that it goes with.
