Sorry to bug you again but the pal file seems to be missing? There was an .ani file. I tried to change the extension to .pal but it didn't work. I'm using this on a vpin. Thanks

B2S Server - new feature - aspect ratio
gunner replied to Westworld's topic in B2S Development Support
Hi guys is this still a feature with the current b2s program? Tried it on a few tables tonight and it had no effect. I am setting up a 2-screen machine and for the DMD tables I want to use the no-grill b2s's and place the DMD below it. So I edited my default screenres.txt so that my backglass and dmd would both fit on the 2nd screen, worked really great. Then I tried to used this new feature to create a .res file that will display my EM backglasses in full regular resolution. 1280x1024. I tried it with a few tables and it I could not get it to fill the whole screen. It was always resized like I set it in the default. Any ideas? Thanks -
Thanks I downloaded that before I posted the question but couldn't see how to just edit a palette file. It appears to be more for animations. I couldn't even figure out how to import a .pal file. I've since discovered if you delete the altcolor folder that belongs to a table then the virtual dmd will read your pinmame color settings.

Can anyone tell me how to edit the palette files (.pal) used to color the virtual DMD via freezy's dll? The ones in the altcolor folder. I did a quick search but didn’t see any clear info. Would like to change the colors on some of them. Star Wars DE for instance. I had a nice blue/white/yellow scheme going before with the pinmame method and I'd like to recreate that. Thanks!

Hi guys, revisiting this table as I would like to get it running better. Runs ok on my older machine but the audio is crackly. After some experimenting the only way I could get rid of that was to limit the 'Max Texture Dimension' to 512 in the VP video options. I tried lowering the audio bitrate to 16000 in pinmame but still had some crackle and the quality of the audio suffered a lot. Wondering if there are any other ways to smooth the table out for my 1GB vid card? Maybe removing the flashers or something? Or possibly adding a dedicated audio card? Any help would be appreciated, I really love the band and the table. Thanks

Thanks GTXJOE both those worked great, will try the target trick too. Thank you for your tables as well. Mystery Castle is beautiful.

Wow. I'm late to the party but had to say this is an amazing table. Many thanks! This one will see lots of play in this house, lots. Couple of quick question, -can I force the Angus playfield to stay on? seems to revert back to the devil girl next time I start the table -can I dim the flashers a bit? the red one on the bottom left is straining my eye (migraine sufferer) Thanks!

Probably a stupid question but is this one of those SAM tables? I ask as I haven't taken the plunge on that yet. Scared to mess up my install after months of tweaking. Thanks
