Terry, I'm in need of help!
I have DOFLinx working fine and have just added a 5 flasher bar into the mix i'm running two sainsmart devices. The issue i'm having is that when i load a game all led ports (rgb) for all flashers stay on is there something i can add to turn them off after 500ms or something to fix this? Sorry to bother you just at a dead end lol.
DDH69 would know better, since he also knows how sainsmart will work with DOFLinx. I only have an Led-Wiz.
This would be the place to get help from him.
What are you using for your flashers? Led-Wiz. Pac-Led64?
This section is not right i suspect.
The port # should be the "Red" port of your RGB flashers...
So for your Outer Left Flasher, if it was connected to ports 110,111,112 on an Led-Wiz (Red, Green, Blue), then you would have:
So for your Inner Left Flasher, if it was connected to ports 113,114,115 on an Led-Wiz (Red, Green, Blue), then you would have:
and so on.
Make sure your port numbers are correct for your device. For me, my Led-Wiz uses ports 1xx, so 101,102,103,etc. A sainsmart will use different numbering...something like 2xx, 201,202,203,etc I don't know the correct device numbering for Sainsmart though. Ask DDH69, or check the DOFLinx guide for more info.
This should all match up with how you have your ports setup in DOF Config Tool if you are using Visual Pinball and DOF.
sussed it thanks Terry I did have the flashers wrong as you mentioned, i also needed to add the serial number for the sainsmarts to the config file i found a guy that has uploaded a config file to edit if you ever hear of anyone having trouble. Thanks again! I have all your DOFlinx tables in my cab now... Awesome work! will you ever be modding popular tables such as TAD or Attack From Mars etc...?
I'm busy now so I don't have as much time as normal to do mods....
....for now I'm concentrating on either original (good) FP tables that have no feedback at all, or modded (Ultimate) arcade reproductions like SLAMT1LT's version of those tables. VPX does a good job for normal classic arcade tables, but I like the tables that are unique to Future Pinball.
