  1. Thanks Swisslizard. VP 92 rev 740 was consistently crashing on me causing LEDs to stay lit. This happened even when testing tables using VP by itself. Switching to rev 743, no crashes on 2 tables that were failing before and all the cabinet lighting turns off as expected.
  2. I will try to check the debug log tonight for a good and bad case. I was using one of the 9.2 betas from this weekend
  3. Just got LEDwiz and DOF working this weekend. I am switching to PinballX due to Hyperpin being unresponsive when first launched ( Win7 x64). I notice that some of my tables leave the the undercab LED strip lit after exiting the table and returning to PinballX. If I launch a new table, DOF works fine. One example that seems to always leave the LED strip lit is "Attack_From_Mars_NIGHT MOD_VP916_v3.0_FS_3-WAY-GI_BMPR_FD-Routine.vpt" I thought DOF takes care of shutting down the LEDwiz outputs. Anyone else getting this? edit: I do have the exit routine added Sub Table1_Exit ' in some tables this needs to be Table1_Exit Controller.Stop End Sub
  4. Sorry I had a brain fart there. Thought you said change to 5 balls. I think this is what you are looking for "Change coin buttons on Pinball Pool table" http://www.vpforums.org/index.php?showtopic=20058
  5. Pinball pool is Gottlieb System 1 so http://www.vpforums.org/index.php?app=tutorials&article=29 1. Press F6 to bring up dipswitch menu 2. In the balls in play section of the menu, click on the radio button to select either 3 balls or 5 balls 3. Click the OK button to save your changes 4. Press F3 to reset the table
  6. Good to know - Thanks arngrim. I would still like to understand if it is okay to map multiple DOF events to a single toy. As I am considering connecting the gear motor output and shaker motor output to a single gear motor, since I don't have a shaker motor. This way I would at least get some feedback for the shaker motor events. Any thoughts?
  7. Currently setting up LEDwiz with leds, strobes, gear motor and a knocker. I have LEDwiz, DOF and the LEDs working fine. Questions 1) Is it okay to define a toy twice (for example, assign knocker to port 17 and port 18) and physically wire one port (port 17) to the knocker and the other port (port 18) to the strobe? I would like free credit to trigger the knocker solenoid and strobe LEDs. 2) Now I still have to assign the strobe to a port, assuming I use port 19, is it okay to have both port 18 and port 19 to both be connected to the ground wire of the strobe LEDs. The desire is to have strobe events (port 19) and also have the strobe react to knocker events (port 18)
  8. Hi, Anyone notice that when the LEDwiz is plugged in via USB, it prevents the PC from going to sleep? I just got the LEDwiz installed and running on my pincab. I have the PC set to go to sleep after 30 min of no activity, that way if no one uses plays with the cabinet it shuts down on its own. With the LEDwiz this doesn't work. If I unplug the LEDwiz then PC shuts down after 30 minutes. Anyone have any ideas on how to get around this? Thanks

  11. Thanks for all the helpful posts. Table looks even better!
  12. I just moved to an SSD drive recently. I followed this post http://www.vpforums.org/index.php?showtopic=24687 Visual pinball also has registry entries, so you want to back those up. They are located in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Visual Pinball My three monitors got numbered differently in the new Windows install, so I had to change B2S, Hyperpin and FPlaunch settings, but it went pretty smooth
