    Hey there, going to colorize this awesome machine because I always found the Color DMD version to be lackluster, actually so much I got rid of it. What I want to do is get the maximum out of it and go with my own style. Not copying what Pudding did, not copying what Color DMD did, but I guess some crossover is to be expected You will see that I want colors for the rivers. I love that but it's a lot of work. I will not promise anything, I will not give release dates. But this will happen. I did a lot in the last few days, but it's the easy stuff and this machine requires a lot of dynamic work. Hope you like the first steps. Still all of it is work in progress!

    Hi, I've actively working on the colorization of last action hero these last few days. I'm learning how to use pin2dmd editor with this nice rom full of scenes and animations ! It'll be a great challenge. It's too early to publish any files right now, but here are a few bits.

    Now that I finished Tales From The Crypt, I got the coloring bug and want to do another. I chose Batman, because aside from not seeing it out there now, I do love this table, this movie, and the music on it. As I am breaking the scenes down, I noticed that its an older DMD style, and a bit rougher. I may have to reanimate a bunch of scenes, but I am looking forward to the challenge. Stay tuned!

    Here's a few more updates. Thanks Rockdude233 and lucky1 for pointing me in the right direction. Multiple scenes and keyframes for dynamic content is the only way it works for an LCD, at least as far as I've discovered.

    Been burning through this as much as I can today, I have a two year old boy and a pregnant wife so time coloring is limited. I am really enjoying this!

    Here's a 2021 update. Cant believe I started this in May of last year, and with the pandemic it took a few months to even pick it up again. I'm starting to near the finish line! This DMD is full of random transitions so it has been quite the task. I've even had to redraw full animations to make it clear.

    Usually, I only want to publish colorizations that have as few errors as possible. However, after about 400 hours of work, I now realize that I will have to rearrange a huge part of this project to fix all persisting issues on certain modes. That is the reason why I am not going to reach my goal of releasing by the end of the year. But because I believe that the project has reached a point where it is already a lot more fun than with a monochrome DMD, I decided to share the current BETA progress.     Someone on another forum (MadNat, from the previous post, actually!) asked me to look at a problem with the attract mode in the Getaway project from Malenko. The next thing I knew I was asking Malenko for write access to his project folder, and I am pleased to report that I have finished a "slippifishi sparkle pass" on the project. Almost every scene has had some attention of some sort, including but not limited to: Subtle (or not so subtle) recolouring of multiple scenes Car wipes are much more reliable Attract mode complete rewrite Many missing text screens added Lots of bleeding reduced or eliminated Donut Heaven given a Krispy Kreme style I also added a better behaving mask to the video mode; this isn't great, but it will fire consistently Loads more - about 30horus work One final note of caution - the version of the project I used to polish may not have been quite the latest, and some scenes that Malenko had got working may no longer work as well/the same, but overall I am happy with how this looks. In keeping with Malenko's approach, the sources are already available on his google share (his original sources are in a subfolder marked "Malenkos Nov 2019 Edition", as well as generated files for VPIN and REAL - links are below. As the project belongs to Malenko, I will leave it to his discretion as to whether he wants to update the main download available hereat VPU, or else I can upload a fresh version if desired.     Hello Everyone, First of all; I'd like to thank you all for being part of the VPUniverse community as well as the whole Virtual Pinball community. Recently we encountered some bumps after a server upgrade. After several hours of monitoring; the host was finally able to narrow down the problem. It was found that another site that is shared on this server was basically causing the server to DDoS. This caused the site to be un-responsive and return the Bad Gateway errors. The errors have been resolved and server speeds feel quite a bit faster. Hopefully we can keep it like this. With this said; eventually I'm going to have to move the site and find a better solution. Running a site that is download and bandwidth heavy without any real revenue stream is a challenge. Your donations and continued support helps. Thanks for your patience, understanding and support.     PIN2DMD Jurassic Park (DE) release 1.0 Happy to present the first release of another monster-project, first time I worked on a Data East table. Project summary (Thanks to @slippifishi for the summary tool!): Dump files: 48 Palettes used: 135 Triggers: 3269 masks used: 25 working hours: 550+ Big thanks as always for the incredible @Wob aka Beau Dwyer for all the effort for testing and video/dump providing. Also thanks to Jochen Nicklas and Sven Breuer for Real pin testing. Known bugs: - Stampede mode not possible to colorize completely, it has far over 1000 frames, 100% dynamic. (I colorized 669 of them to get a basic cover, so the text and score will lose color the more hits you do at once.     I should be honest and let everyone know that work on this project stalled a few months ago. I am currently without my vpin cab (joined the real pinball club and needed the space!) so VPX testing is limited to my desktop which I really hate doing, and I just haven't had the energy or interest of late. I'm ashamed to say I don't even remember how far I got, but it's definitely not a project for the faint of heart, there are some complex scenarios that I never really worked out how to accomplish them, especially the devil & angel appearing at various points. It seems these are predictable to some fashion, but there are going to be a lot of random/lucky or very focused dumps required to capture all the possibilities. Not saying I will never go back and resume this, but I just want to manage expectations.

    Hi, I've updated the dmddevice.dll file with lmateste version from freezy, and it loads ! The scenes are not currently working, but I will look into what was done for White Water to get through this. In the meanwhile, i've been coloring new scenes, and I realize when playing that my recordings are not really good, I miss a few frames from here and there. Therefore I need to record everything exhaustively to have a better result. Some new previews :
