I'm back to working on the problem. As mentioned previously it was working fine on a really old core duo. After futzing with it for quite a while I went back and downloaded VP112116 that I uploaded, and sure enough it still stutters, even though it's the same code! The reason in this case is that the VPM build that I posted, I built with VIsual Studio 2015, which has a different project file, and different compiler optimization settings. I found that it was set for "Full" optimization, rather than "Optimize for speed", which apparently for VPM makes a pretty big difference. The slower machine has Visual Studio 2010 on it. I used to build the VPMs there until I got VS2015 set up on my laptop, so I suspect the old "good" build was built there. Going to do more testing before I post a build, but wanted to report that there's some progress.

Hey DJR and anyone else involved with the new builds... I wanted to make a humble suggestion. There are an increasing amount of posts and questions on the other two sites about errors related to not having the newest experimental B2S and VPM builds from this thread... especially with VPF's rules about not linking to this site (and the growing size of this thread), it's getting increasingly difficult to direct people to the right files. Would it be possible to start posting the latest B2S and VPM builds in the OP, or maybe starting a new thread to post them in the OP? If not, I completely understand as it is more hassle for you guys, but I thought it might be easier to get people to the files they need for some of the newer tables. Thanks for considering.

Yes, ACDC and metallica LE are definitely sending extra lights that the new VPMs pick up.

    Mustang LE color

I've pulled in the commits available with DJRobX so this build should have the work that was done recently to support SAM LE code and has the latest device drivers to support real DMD. Beyond making sure that the Mustang patches load, I can't test them out. Let us know how this runs. Note - the 32 bit pinDMD3 dll is not included here as it is not in the source. You can pick this up with toxie's build in the first post of the VPM beta thread at VPF. Hoping that the file will work here. VPinMAME_SAM_2.44.zip

We will be having new enhancements coming to our downloads section in the very near future. Please bare with us while we undergo these changes and make VPU even greater for our community.

Very nice backglass and you nailed it with the controlled lamps for the male and female conversations. Excellent!
