  2. Wildman: I looked through the script, it does not have Set Controller, as it is the table made for VP8 by Eala Dubh Sidhe and was redone for VP9. Any other ideas?

  8. Seem to be having some issues with PinballY not showing the same playfield and backglass previews as X did. Any suggestions? Are there instructions for configuring and setup? I know it says that it does not require it.

  10. I created an account on DOF Config site and it said created successfully on the page after clicking the create account button. I don't know if there is supposed to be an activation email that follows, but I never received one. When I attempt to login it just keeps saying invalid, and there are no contact links on the page that would allow me to address my issue there, so I figured I'd try here. Thanks in advance. :)

  14. Hey, everyone. I just downloaded the Black Fever pinball table for VP9 and the backglass. I tried to play the table, I get the table, but no backglass. I tried to rename both files to match, but to no avail. Is the backglass for VP9 or VPX?
  15. Hard to say honestly. My philosophy when building anything with a screen(pincab, arcade cab) is to build around your screen. Screen determines width always, unless you want dead space on either side of the screen, or in the case of an arcade cab, if you want bezel art. This website has some generic measurements for a pin, I took these and scaled down for my mini pin build, I’m using a 32” screen for play field. https://www.dimensions.guide/element/pinball-machines
  16. Hello. Do you have this files for Rral Pinball? Greetings.
  17. I believe where you download the patch file most of them give an example for the altcolor folder.. Place the .pal file in your ..\vpinmame\altcolor\Rom name\ folder named pin2dmd.pal
  18. “Download this folder and put it in your VPinMame folder, This will get you start it” http://vpuniverse.com/forums/files/file/4966-more-altcolor-color-pallettes/ Then add the right pal files to the right folders
  19. Ha! Got it working. It was operator error, more or less. Outhere's suggestion of the rom patcher utility got me there. I tried it to see if it did anything different than bspatch by command line, and then was looking at the files and thought "huh, what's this .pal file for?" Googled it and found that I need to make a altcolor directory, etc. and put the .pal files in there, hadn't read that anyplace before. Thanks for all the comments, etc. Now to enjoy some color roms!
  20. Try this This is what I use for patching Stern sam color rom ---> http://vpuniverse.com/forums/files/file/4808-vpu-color-rom-patcher/
  21. Still not working. I updated with the files from SAMBuild_r4777.zip, ran setup.exe, clicked install, set default options, and then used the test function on the three roms that I've patched to color (Avengers, AC/DC, Star Trek LE). No color in any of them, and I went to their options, and made sure "colorize" was selected. I do see different shades/levels of orange, which I assume the color should change when the level changes. I also tried copying the dmddevice, dll files that were in the PIN2DMD directory of the SAMBuild_r4777 archive into my main VPinMAME directory, but then I get the "PIN2DMD not found" error, even if I run setup/install again. Is there someplace where a process is documented to install this? These colorized rom patches do work with an actual hardware DMD, ie. PinDMD3, right?

  23. Popper I will tackle later but I prefer running in portrait and it takes a few more steps to get that going. I will try Pinball Y and see how that goes.
