  1. The Empire Strikes Back (Hankin 1980) Media Pack

New vector-based card reproductions based on images at Inkochnito's and IPDB. Score card also based on images of the factory card. Type and layout in InDesign and assembly used Illustrator.
Helvetica obtained at ephifonts.com. Optima font obtained at fontsmarket.com.
Vector-based Empire logo came from Wikipedia. Scaled up and exported an ultra hi-rez PNG using Inkscape.
Flyer front courtesy IPDB. The best flyer images I've found for the table is at NYPinball but their images have watermarks, so I'll just point users that way instead of including them in the pack.
Thanks to Mark Clayton, Ian McKinnon and IPDB for reference images.

  2. Mustang (Stern 2014) Media Pack

Pack contains vector-based reproductions of the factory cards, There is a Limited Edition card and what I suppose is a Pro card. There is also a promo card that was used at the Chicago Auto Show. Type and layout used InDesign. Some graphics work used GIMP. Assembly and simulation of print out on Solar yellow stock used Illustrator. Appropriate coinage card also included (US currency only).
Shotmaps also included. Images extracted using xpdfbin and dumped into Flash containers.
Fonts include Serpentine by Dick Jensen and obtained at fontsonline.net and Xolonium v2.0 by Severin Meyer, available under GNU GPL 2.0 with my own minor but noticeable modifications to better match the reference image.
Vector-based Stern logo nabbed from the Batman manual.
Vector-based Ford oval logo is from Wikipedia.
Special thanks to Dozer and 85vett for their fine tables from which I extracted a car image. Best I could find.
A good era appropriate car image found on Pinterest, posted on the account of carrentingreviews was used in the promo card. Made my best attempt to convert to sketch. So, not exactly genuine.
HD Mustang badge image from autoware.com.au and traced to vector to use as a logo. Ultra hi-res image of the pony badge from Fathead and simply scaled down for use in the cards.  The Mustang badge was modified a bit in Illustrator and combined with the pony badge in GIMP to make an ultra hi-res wheel image.
I've also included the wheel images I first pubished here. I still like them a lot.
Raw images extracted from the flyers available at Stern's website and losslessly converted to PNG.
Thanks to ninuzzu for extracting a card image for me from Stern Pinball Arcade.
Thanks to Pinballnews.com, autoblog.com, Jason Rufer and IPDB.org for additional reference images and assets.
Special thanks once again to Inkochnito for hosting the factory shotmaps.

  3. WWF Royal Rumble (Data East 1994) Media Pack

I made reproductions available on the PinballX FTP, but I found that for the factory PDF hosted by Inkochnito, Acrobat had automatically replaced Helvetica with Arial. Yes, they are close but Arial is not Helvetica! This pack has new versions of the factory PDF with the correct font and WWF and Data East logos replaced with vector-based versions. Refreshed the standard card and the alternate wide body card. No change required for Inkochnito's own reproduction. Edits and assembly used Illustrator. Appropriate coinage card also included.
    Helvetica fonts obtained at ephifonts.com.
Data East vector-based logo based on one created by Tapule available at http://vectorlib.free.fr.
WWF logo traced from Inkochnito's own reproduction.
Found a high resolution version of the old style WWF logo on Pinterest. member murrayrhoads9. I'll throw that in for a wheel image.
300dpi scans of the flyer courtesy

Stern published a series of infographics on Facebook celebrating 30 years of business. I included the one for WWF Royal Rumble. There are two versions, one with some extra trivia and the other is just the infographic. Both included. I use these as additional flyer images.
Special thanks to Inkochnito for hosting the factory PDFs.

  5. Star Wars Trilogy (Sega 1997) Media Pack

The factory PDF is available at Inkochnito's but there is an alternate version that describes the Skill Shot, so I reproduced that one based on photos I took on a recent visit to a local arcade.  And I refreshed the factory PDF version, replacing logos with vector-based versions prior to export to Flash. I found that on my old version of the card on the PinballX FTP Acrobat had substituted a different font for what was supposed to be displayed. So, I fixed that as well. Type and layout of the Skill Shot rule completed using InDesign. Edits and assembly used Illustrator. The promo card is included. I did not retrace the line art on the logo card. That's beyond what I can attempt. Coinage cards also included.
    Helvetica fonts obtained at ephifonts.com.
Sega Pinball vector-based logo based on one I created. Details here:

Star Wars Trilogy vector-based logo obtained at seeklogo.com. This in turn was used to create an ultra hi-rez wheel image.
Extracted a high rez wheel image from a movie poster hosted at starwars.wikia.com. Cleaning and effects in GIMP.

I also included flyer scans from nypinball.com. The quality may be better.

  6. Harley-Davidson (Sega 1999) Media Pack

I've had most of this media on the PinballX FTP for a while, but I wanted to highlight it because I did put a bit of work into it. The factory PDF is available at Inkochnito's but I replaced the logos with vector-based versions prior to export to Flash. I've re-exported the 1st/2nd Edition card. I swapped out the raster-based logo on the 3rd Edition card with a vector-based one that I made. I've added a new 3rd Edition card colored to simulate print out on Solar Yellow stock. Edits and assembly used Illustrator. A promo card and coinage cards are included. Coinage cards for both Sega and Stern.
The Harley shield logo was obtained at brandsoftheworld.com. I used this to create the 'Official Licensed Product' logo for the 3rd Edition card. These in turn for the basis for ultra hi-rez wheel images.
300dpi scans of the Sega flyer courtesy
    http://flyers.cdyn.com/
I also extracted raw images directly from the 2nd and 3rd Edition brochures published at sternpinball.com using xpdfbin and converted to lossless PNG using ImageMagick.
Thanks to Evert Brochez, Gregor Zimmerer, and IPDB.org for reference photos.

I've had most of this media on the PinballX FTP for a while, but I wanted to highlight it because I did put a bit of work into it. The factory PDF is available at Inkochnito's but I replaced the logos with vector-based versions prior to export to Flash. Coinage cards are included.
Thanks to 32assassin for blanket permission to use/modify his wheel images. I traced his version to vector and adjusted colors; replaced the Dreamworks logo with one I found on Wikipedia and modified to match the PDF. The original wheel image is here:
    http://www.vpforums.org/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=9166
I re-processed without changing the colors to create the ultra hi-rez wheel image. Frankly, I'm fine with the original, though.
300dpi scans of prototype and production flyers courtesy

I also extracted raw images directly from the brochures published at sternpinball.com using xpdfbin and converted to lossless PNG using ImageMagick. They are a little lower resolution but a little brighter than what is available at flyers.cdyn.com. Both sets are included. The choice is yours.

  8. Monopoly (Stern 2001) Media Pack

I've had most of this media on the PinballX FTP for a while, but I wanted to highlight it because I did put a bit of work into it. And the instruction cards were re-exported to center them a little better than what is currently found on the PinballX FTP. The factory PDF is available at Inkochnito's but I replaced the graphics and logos with vector-based versions. All of them except for the PLD logo. There is a red, black, and white card  as it appears in the factory PDF and a full back and white card as it appears on machines I've seen in public. An era appropriate coinage card is included.
Old style Stern Pinball logo I created myself. It's publicly available here:
    https://www.gameex.info/forums/topic/17886-new-stern-old-gottlieb-and-old-taito-company-logos/?do=findComment&comment=158055
Monopoly logo came from brandsoftheworld.com and was lightly modified by me. This in turn was used to create the ultra hi-rez wheel image.

  9. Spider-Man Vault Edition (Stern 2016) Media Pack

This is the same as the pack I published here - http://vpinball.com/VPBdownloads/spider-man-vault-edition-media-pack/
except this one has a vector-based reproduction of the factory card rather than a photo. Type and layout in InDesign. Assembly, vectorization, and colorization to simulate print out on Solar Yellow stock in Adobe Illustrator.
Playfield image is the same as the one I traced for Spider-Man Classic but heavily modified to better match the reference image. I've included the Flash export for this but it wound up being a very complex image and it takes a long time to load. The faster loading version has the modified playfield re-rasterized at 300 ppi.
Found a vector-based logo on Wikipedia and modified it to match the card. This in turn was used to create a new ultra hi-rez wheel image. I have also included the old version from the previous pack.
Fonts are Gothic, courtesy freefontsfamily.com, and Helvetica, courtesy ephifonts.com.
Took my own photos of a machine at Parlor and Yard or whatever is in that space now. And that is the source for a hi-rez image of the Spidey line art. Cleaned up using GIMP.
Flyers - raw image extracted directly from the factory PDFs using xpdfbin and converted to lossless PNG using ImageMagick.
Thanks to Pinballnews.com for a reference image and as usual, thanks to Inkochnito for hosting the Spider-Man Classic factory cards.

  10. CSI (Stern 2008) Media Pack

The cards are modified versions of Inkochnito's reproductions that better match the reference images that are also on Inkochnito's site. English language card - tweaked and resized the text layout and applied my usual color palette in Illustrator. French language card - tweaked the text layout and swapped the Ariel font for Myriad Pro in InDesign, re-assembled in Illustrator. Coinage card included (US currency). These required redrawing and replacing the original button graphics found on the PDF.
Clicker font by Greg Thompson, obtained at fontsgeek.com. I used this with modifications to create an ultra hi-rez wheel image. Effects added with GIMP.
300dpi scans of the flyer courtesy
    http://flyers.cdyn.com/

  11. Star Trek (Stern 2013) Media Pack

Includes a reproduction of the English language factory card. Also includes coinage cards, US currency only. Type and layout produced with Adobe InDesign. Image clean-up for the QR code and the Enterprise illustration used GIMP. Assembly, vectorization, and colorization to simulate print out on Solar Yellow stock in Adobe Illustrator. Also includes shotmaps extracted from the factory PDFs and dumped into a Flash container.
Horizon font by Bitstream, available at FontsMarket.com. I used this font with some skew in InDesign to create the title and added some effects in Illustrator to create a vector-based ultra high-rez wheel image.
Starfleet insignia silhouette was traced in Illustrator using a hi-rez image of a prop reproduction that is sold by away-mission.com
Klingon empire logo is from Wikipedia and modified in Illustrator.
Stern card template comes from earlier work.
Flyers - raw image extracted directly from the brochures published at sternpinball.com using xpdfbin and converted to lossless PNG using ImageMagick. I've also included the Jpeg flyer and promo images available at IPDB.org. The flyers at IPDB appears to be higher resolution than what I'm able to get from the PDFs at the Stern website.
Special thanks to to Rocky Mountain Pinball and J.M. Artés at veopixeles.com for reference images.
I also took my own pictures at Pinballz, a great local arcade with the largest pinball collection in Texas. I used my own photos for images of the QR code and the Enterprise.
Once again, thanks to Inkochnito for hosting the factory shotmaps.

except this one has a better reproduction of the factory card with the raster-based image of the playfield replaced by a vector traced versions from Inkscape. Assembly, vectorization, and colorization to simulate print out on Solar Yellow stock in Adobe Illustrator.
Retraced a logo found on logos.wikia.com to create a new ultra hi-rez wheel image. But I also included the old version.
Flyers and shotmaps - raw image extracted directly from the PDFs using xpdfbin and converted to lossless PNG using ImageMagick. Shotmap images then dumped into an SWF container using Illustrator.
I included the hi-rez flyer scan from http://flyers.cdyn.com/ but I think I prefer the image extracted from the factory brochure PDF from sternpinball.com.

  13. Elvis (Stern 2004) Media Pack

Much of this work is buried deep on the PinballX FTP. This is just bringing it together in one place. The card itself is available at Inkochnito's. I did re-trace the card, replaced the Elvis license logo with a higher res version that I traced to vector.  Assembled and vectorized in Illustrator. This pack also includes the factory shotmaps, images extracted using xpdfbin, converted to vector using InkScape and Illustrator, and exported into Flash containers. Coinage card included (US currency). This required redrawing and replacing the original button graphics found on the PDF.

Coinage card included (US currency). This required redrawing and replacing the original button graphics found on the PDF.

Assembled, vectorized, and colored in Illustrator. There are both black-and-white and colored to simulate print out on solar yellow card stock. I did re-export the black-and-white card, so the result is a little bit better than the version on the PinballX FTP. This pack also includes the factory shotmaps extracted directly from the PDF using xpdfbin and dropped into Flash containers. The technical drawings of the playfield were converted to vector. Coinage cards included (US currency), black-and-white and color. These required redrawing and replacing the original button graphics found on the PDF.

This includes a USA factory reproduction card based heavily on my NASCAR card. A pair of coinage cards are included.
A nice, large race number "8" that looked pretty much like the one on the playfield is from an old blog post by Jade Gurss. Traced to vector.
Thanks to Wildman for allowing me to extract the table title from his fine backglass. Traced to vector.
I combined these images to make a "high-er" res wheel image.
Vector-based NASCAR logo and registered trademark image found on Wikipedia.
Thanks to coinoppartsetc.com and gameroomsuperstores.com for reference images. They were not good, but they were the best I could find. In other words, some guesswork was involved in reproducing the card. If I find a better image, I'll update.
And, special thanks to Inkochnito for hosting the original NASCAR card.

Vector-based TRON Legacy logos from Wikipedia.org. Used it with some effects in GIMP for a new hi-rez wheel image.

Special thanks to Kim Keist, Mark Steinman, IPDB, and ICPjuggla for reference images.
And last but not least, Inkochnito, for providing super hi-res, 600 dpi images of the English and Spanish card as ultimate source images from which I also used the recognizer and light cycle graphics.

  22. Family Guy (Stern 2007) Media Pack

Not much that is truly new here. But a lot of this work is buried deep on the PinballX FTP. This is just bringing it together in one place. The card itself is available at Inkochnito's, assembled, vectorized, and colored in Illustrator. This pack also includes the factory shotmaps extracted directly from the PDF using xpdfbin and dropped into Flash containers. Coinage card included (US currency). These required redrawing and replacing the original button graphics found on the PDF.
Vector-based logo found on Wikipedia. Replaced the raster-based logo on the card with this one. Also exported to PNG for a hi-rez wheel image.
Flyers - raw image extracted directly from the brochure published at sternpinball.com using xpdfbin and converted to lossless PNG using ImageMagick.
    Special thanks to Inkochnito.

  24. Striker Xtreme (Stern 2000) Media Pack

The cards are already available at Inkochnito's and did not require much work in Illustrator, but this pack also includes the factory shotmap which I extracted using xpdftools and traced to vector with Inkscape. An era appropriate US coin card is also included along with the promo card. The wheel image is based on the promo card and is hi-res.

Prototype flyer image thanks to IPDB.
Special thanks once again to Inkochnito. Please leave him a donation. He provides a great service for both virtual and real pinball communities.

  25. Pirates of the Caribbean (Stern 2006) Media Pack

Not much that is truly new here except for the wheel image. But a lot of this work is buried deep on the PinballX FTP. This is just bringing it together in one place. The card itself is available at Inkochnito's and did not require much work to vectorize and color in Illustrator, but this pack also includes the factory shotmap, the illustrated playfield diagram I traced to vector, improved the graphics on the aprons, etc.  Coinage cards included (US currency). These required redrawing and replacing the original button graphics found on the PDF.
I don't recall where the logo came from. Let's just call it Disney. I traced it to vector, colorized it to better represent print out on solar yellow stock and replaced the raster-based logo on the card with this one. Also exported to PNG for a wheel image.
Flyers - raw image extracted directly from the factory PDFs using xpdfbin and converted to lossless PNG using ImageMagick.
Special thanks to Inkochnito for hosting all of the factory PDFs.
