  5. Aliens Legacy - "Game Over, Man" (PinEvent Lite, FizX 3.3)

Aliens Legacy - "Game Over, Man" (PinEvent Lite, FizX 3.3)

    Version 1.3 (Feb 2024)

Original table design and concept by: David Eisner
Ultimate Pro 1.03 table by: SLAMT1LT
Game Over Man, PinEvent Lite, FizX update by: TerryRed

Aliens Legacy Pinball started long ago around 2010 as an original design by David Eisner, then later updated by Destruk, Pinballwzd, Steve Paradis and Tom Niwinski.

After that, the table was updated many times by SLAMT1LT (ULTRA, HARDCORE, Ultimate / Bad Ass, etc). Years later, he updated the table with a massive awesome update for his Ultimate Pro version. It has become one of my favorite all time tables.

BAM has had many new updates and new features added since the Ultimate Pro table was released years ago. I love the Alien movies, so I really wanted to add my own bit of flair to this amazing table.

I've added my PinEvent Lite features and overhauled this table and modernized it to my own preferences for lighting, shadows, FizX physics, and more. I added some new features, new models, new changes, and more. This makes an already great game look / sound / play absolutely amazing. I love it!

This table has been fully updated with FizX physics for game changing new physics on Future Pinball. FizX uses techniques similar to nFozzy physics on VPX to completely change the physics for the flippers, slings, rubbers, targets, ball behavior and more that allows this table play much more realistically than anyone ever thought was possible on Future Pinball. You will be amazed at the difference!

    PinEvent Lite

I've added my PinEvent Lite features for DOF, SSF, etc (PUP DMD is a future update).

PinEvent Lite features for this table: DOF (basic config, no custom animated effects... yet) PUP (simple backglass and speaker grill options) PUP SSF Night Mode TILT BOB
NOTE: PinEvent Lite tables do NOT have PUP-Pack options that include support for PUPDMD / videos / modern text, etc. That will come at a later date, when the table is upgraded to PinEvent V2.

    DMDExt

Cabinet users will need to use DMDExt to mirror the FP DMD to their DMD display / real DMD. Read the included Install Instructions for more info and links on how to do this.

For an EPIC video preview of this table's updates and new features, and a gameplay demo of almost all modes, check out this video:

  15. Blue vs Pink - BAM Edition (PinEvent V2 - FizX 3.3)

Blue vs Pink - BAM Edition (PinEvent V2 - FizX 3.3)

Original Table by Brendan Bailey, 2009

BAM Edition, PinEvent V2, and FizX mod by TerryRed, 2022

    Table version: 2.1 - BAM Edition (PinEvent V2, FizX 3.3) (Feb 2024)

Thank you so much Brendan Bailey for supporting this update!

    ====================================================================

Brendan Bailey is one of FP's classic "original" table authors. EVERYTHING on this table was made by him! The layout, art, music, sounds, code. Such an amazing work of passion deserves to be updated to be enjoyed by a new generation of virtual pinball lovers!

I wanted to update to a classic FP "original" table to bring it up to my own modern day BAM standards, add my PinEvent V2 features, and completely update the table with FizX physics. The result is an excellent table that plays great with modern dynamic lighting, shadowmaps, ray cast shadows, and full cabinet support.

    ====================================================================

    PinEvent V2

This table is also updated to fully support PinEvent V2 features (DOF, PUP SSF, PUP DMD). It has modern PUP DMD display options that can work with all setups. With it's crisp HD text and dazzling videos, it's sure to wow everyone who sees it.

    ====================================================================

  17. Junkyard Cats - BAM Edition (PinEvent V2 - FizX 3.3)

    Junkyard Cats - BAM Edition

Original Table by Brendan Bailey, 2012

BAM Edition, PinEvent V2, FizX mod by TerryRed

    Version 2.1, Feb 2024

Thank you so much Brendan Bailey for supporting this update!

    ====================================================================

    ====================================================================

    PinEvent V2

This table is also updated to fully support PinEvent V2 features (DOF, PUP SSF, PUP DMD). It has modern PUP DMD display options that can work with all setups. With it's crisp HD text and dazzling videos, it's sure to wow everyone who sees it.

  18. Star Wars: Death Star Assault - GALACTIC EDITION (PinEvent V2 - FizX 3.3)

Star Wars: Death Star Assault - GALACTIC EDITION

Original Ultimate Pro table by SLAMT1LT

    GALACTIC EDITION by TerryRed

    Table version: 1.7 (Feb 2024)

A long time ago (2005) on a pinball editor far, far away... this table started its long journey.

First it started as the Sci-Fi Classic example table in 2005. Then SLAMT1LT created his Star Wars mod in 2010, which then evolved over the years to his Ultra version, then his Ultimate version, then finally his Ultimate Pro 1.06 version in 2020. I then updated that table with my Epic Space Battles mod in 2021, and then for PinEvent afterward.

In 2022, I present my massive GALACTIC EDITION update!

This table has been completely updated and modernized to use the newest BAM features to create an amazing real-time visual treat that will blow you away! Almost everything you saw before has been updated to the max (or replaced) and many cool new additions have been added!

Epic Space Battles were just the beginning. This table is so big it requires you to patch FP and BAM to allow them to access 4 GB of ram, just to run it! I highly recommend you watch the "evolution" video below to see many of the new features.

This table has been fully updated with FizX for game changing new physics on Future Pinball. The old Future Pinball physics are GONE! FizX uses techniques similar to nFozzy on VPX to completely change the physics for the flippers, slings, rubbers, targets, ball behavior and more that allows this table play much more realistically than anyone ever thought was possible on Future Pinball. You will be amazed at the difference!

    PinEvent V2

This table is also updated to fully support PinEvent V2 features (DOF, PUP SSF, PUP DMD). It has modern PUP DMD display options that can work with all setups. With it's crisp HD text and dazzling videos, it's sure to wow everyone who sees it.

    and Disney films.
Table rules; Lighting, "D.A.R.T.H." and "V.A.D.E.R.", (by hitting targets on the roto spinner or right side),

  22. Jungle Girl v1.2

Jungle Girl fpx has now been released as version 1.2.

    Pinball Nirvana Mirror download

This is my homage to the great Bally Games of 1980 and 81, and this new version fixes any remaining issues (I hope) and adds improvements to the flippers, a better sound system, and also voice tracks! (TTS alas)

    Version 1.2 Update Video:

    V1.2 play and stategy

    Here's the version 1.2 notes:

     script updated August 2023

    ' *** Version 1.2***
    ' New Additions
'    - New Voice tracks (TTS unfortunately) and redid all music routines and code. Voices are randomized on certain features.
'     - New controlling routines for better music management, and better timing routines.
'    - Future versions of fpxEngine will be based on this script as opposed to it's own code. (after a major cleanup of course)
'    - Modified a couple AddScoringEvent routines for a better playing experience
'    - BAM version needs to be 280 or higher
'     - If you have headphones, you will hear the 2nd background. This was in the previous version, just forgot to mention it.
'     - Some new music changes
    ' shivaFlipper v4 Changes
'    - Code rewritten to be simplier and improved performance. Game play, especially base flipper shots now slightly stronger. Full effect variable coil now added
'    - Middle Trigger replaced with optoTrigger. Walls reshaped to adjust ball flow and shots
'    - Variable coil now present throughout full flipper swing
'    - Flippers moved and now shoot slightly different. This is due to a new FlipperRotationChart
'     - shivaFlipper presets have been changed internally. (shivaFlippersPresetCase=4)
'    - Strength of the flippers made a bit stronger, with slightly stronger base shots. Due to the new Flipper rotationalChart, tap passes may be a bit tougher to do now.
'    - Variable coil preset changed to be a bit less sensitive, but still very sensitive.
'    - Custom Bounce control changed to less bouncy, more realistic Bally type flippers. Set AddfpxBounce to a max of 10 ifd you want more bounce.
'    - Top RightFlipper redone to match other flippers
'    - Improved performance of the walls and fixed any issues, adjusted ball angle off flipper. New error correction code added.
    ' Rule changes
'    - Changed a couple routines so the game now scores lower! Game now set to 5 balls, and 1500000 for the first replay. You can change this in User Adjustments
'     - Loop shots changed. Both loop shots advance a letter. Right loop will now score advancing value as well. The Left will score the star trigger value. Fixed double scoring issue.
    ' Other changes
'    - The game has several new settings in User adjustments so you can customize the table to your liking. This incudes shivaFlippers, fpxEngine, and the pinsettings.
'     - ShivaFlippers has simplified settings for flippers as several settings are no longer needed due to new Variable coil system (EOS)
'    - high score display only shows if a actual high score is made.
'    - Minor physics changes. Fixed dead play areas, adjusted loop shot so ball is faster on loop etc. Never thought this game could get more fun, but it did.

  23. Doctor Who (Bally, 1992)

Please click on the "ChangeLog" tab to read the comments on the new version 2.6.6.

I am releasing this table now even though I had planned to do more work on it.  My coding partner, JP (aka Popotte) is not available until September, 2022.  The table is in a playable state right now.  I have decided to go ahead and publish it even though I have some additional changes planned.  I am burned out on it right now and would like to move on to something else until JP gets back.

In addition to JP's excellent coding expertise, Paolo (aka Wild) was a big help also.  I asked for his help when I was unable to make the upper flipper hit the "O" ramp (the ramp where the entrance if behind the front most ramp).  I asked him to add an electronic assist that he developed to get it to work.  I spent a great deal of time to get it to work myself but was not able.  Paolo knows I don't like electronic assists and so he figured out a way to fix it without an assist!

LtJazz figured a way to add color DMDs to tables which have four colors.  He provided some assistance on how to create the swatches on the color file.  I selected colors that match the table.  The download includes a ZIP file that has the color swatches for the DMD and a custom ball.  Don't unZIP it.  Just save it to the same folder as the table and it must also have the same file name as the table.

The table has a list of Key Codes that are accessed in game by pressing the Special 1 key.  It identifies all the keys that you can press to access the various options that can be changed.

The rear wall of the game room can be replaced with an alternate texture.  On Layer 9 of the FP editor, click on an area around the diagonal line that goes across the top of the playfield.  In the right pane, click on the texture pull down menu and select "wall2".  Save changes.

There are 5 different textures that can be used on the table loading screen.  These textures can be changed from the "Table Info" menu.  Two of the textures are in a portrait format so they can be used on a cabinet.  There are the names of the textures:

    LoadingScreenLandscape1
    LoadingScreenLandscape2
    LoadingScreenLandscape3
    LoadingScreenPortrait1
    LoadingScreenPortrait2

These are the list of changes:

    1. Added custom physics and dynamic flippers with a flipper rotation speed chart.
    2. Added emkickers to the slingshots to improve physics.
    3. Added HUD Toggle Key that saves setting.
    4. Added toggle option for 3 or 5 balls per game that saves setting.
    5. Added 5 new textures on the table loading screen.
    7. Added sound when the ball hits the flippers that can be toggled on and off.
    8. Added DMD background color, ball/flipper shadows and ball configuration to the script.
    9. Added game room floor and backwall.
    10. Create overlay for the HUD.
    11. Added new instruction cards.
    12. Added BAM code that allows the score to exceed 2 billion points.
    13. Added backwall that is located above the playfield floor in the back of the table.
14 Changed the DMD on the backglass that has static display to show everything like the HUD.  The backglass DMD used to only have a static display that never changed.
    15. Made the Dalek on the topper look like metal instead of plastic.
    16. Made the backglass switchable between NitroNimbus's version and the original.
    17. Added HUD that duplicates the 7 doctor's lights on the backbox.
    18. Added overlay for the HUD DMD.
    19. Edited the new high resolution version of the stereo panel texture for the backglass found by JLou to remove defects.  Update the existing backglass to include it.
    20. Added color DMDs.
    21. Added new high resolution sideblade textures to the inside of the cabinet on the sides of the playfield.
    22. Added new music to play during the attract mode using sound of the tardis landing and music sound track from one of the movies.
    23. Created new model for the trap door on the "O" ramp.  (Paolo)
    24. Fixed the script for the trap door on the "O" ramp so it closes during Doctor three.  (Paolo)
    25. Changed the configuration of the upper flipper and the "O" ramp so the ball navigates the ramp correctly and is easier to hit.  (Paolo)
    26. Fixed the script for the trap door on the "O" ramp so it closes during Doctor six.  (Popotte)
    27. Corrected various coding errors for multiball -- lost balls, re-lock, Davros mode, extra ball, tilt and correct meditation error for Type Mismatch: "eval".  (Popotte)

I often like to figure out the rules while playing a table but may want to consult the rules on this table.  You can select one of seven doctors by pressing one of the flipper keys after the ball comes out but before you launch it with the plunger.  The rules are different for each doctor.  You can find the rules here:

    http://pinball.org/rules/drwho.html

There may be some additional problems that need to be solved that need JPs help.  Please post any problems that you encounter.  Although I planned to do more on the table, it has been improved dramatically and I think you will enjoy it.

  24. Sonic Pinball Mania (PinEvent V2, FizX 3.3)

Sonic Pinball Mania (PinEvent V2 - FizX)

    Created by: TerryRed

    Version 2.0 (Feb 2024)

Get ready for the most EPIC Sonic pinball table ever created... and a pinball game like you've never seen before!

This has everything a Sonic fan could want in one table. Green Hill zone scenery, Sonic Loop ramp, animated bumpers, springs, item box, checkpoint, chaos emerald flashers, red star spinner, launch tunnel, rotating goal sign, moving robots, animated characters such as Sonic / Knuckles / Shadow... and even Dr Robotnik and his eggmobile which will follow your ball with it's spotlight... and much more!

This table takes full advantage of BAM's latest features with full dynamic lighting and ray cast shadows and shadowmaps to create a stunning visual pinball showcase!

What started as a quick BAM mod to update Brendan Bailey's classic Sonic table of 2005 (which was updated by SLAMT1LT in 2014), evolved into a complete overhaul to the entire table. Everything in the table has either been updated or changed, and I've added so many new things (new layout, art, models, lighting, modes, code, fixes, etc) that it's like a new table. Hence... Sonic Pinball Mania.

    PinEvent V2

This table is also updated to fully support PinEvent V2 features (DOF, PUP SSF, PUP DMD). It has modern PUP DMD display options that can work with all setups. With it's crisp HD text and dazzling videos, it's sure to wow everyone who sees it.

I'm really proud of what I pulled off with this, and I really hope you enjoy it!

For an EPIC video preview of this table in action with PinEvent V2 features, check out this video:

Thanks of course to these awesome contributors:

    TerryRed - Sonic Pinball Mania
Brendan Bailey (PinWizKid) - created the original Sonic the Hedgehog table in 2005
SLAMT1LT - sounds, music, code, DMD, etc from his Ultimate mod in 2014
